I am wanting to know what is the reasoning to have cars with 0 miles? Is it just for the trading factor to get better cars? I don't see how miles on a car in the game have any effect on the way the perform or does it?

My reasons are just that I want EVERY premium I own to have zero miles and be stock so they are all new. Ones I use I will buy duplicates so they have zero.

Abit sad but hey. I like collecting new things lol

Hmm, the cars with 0 miles are untouched. So they don't need anything to fix them like oil or somthing, and just like priesty_lfc said, people like to collect new things ?

exactly because it does affect the way a car performs

But even after the rigidity upgrade and engine overhaul is there a difference?

That is what I was thinking.

The cars lose power the more you use them. Oil changes help reduce this but eventually the car will start to lose power. With race cars the engine overhaul bill is 500,000cr which is a lot

Exactly.

I have a Lambo Muira which I started a race then quit out as I had to go out, it now has 0.5miles on the clock. Because of the 0.5 I now have to get another one so I can have a completely untouched/unused one.

I think I have a problem :nervous:

If you back up your save before sending a car, you can pay to fully restore it without it costing you anything.

And may I ask what's the point in having a garage full of un-driven cars?

Does having OCD stop you buying anything from the UCD?

That is one of my points I don't see the purpose of 0 mile cars when you can just restore the car, gift it, back up save and gift it back. Plus all the standards have miles which it seems are the most wanted cars.

Restoring it still keeps the miles on it tho!

There is no point, i'm collecting all of them, the ones I want/have to use I will but I will just buy another so it still has zero.

And no it doesn't however I personally don't drive any non std cars (apart from FGT/Toyota Gt-One) and the only cars I pick up from the UCD are my favourites (just so I have them) and ones with cool colours just so I can get the paint chip

Mileage is irrelevant if it's restored.

If you have to see 0 miles then fine, otherwise it's just silly :)

Wow. Feel free to give me your dirty used cars if you don't like them!

Yes but people cannot prove that they have done a rigidity restore.

So 0 mile is the only way to garuntee a fresh car.

I will quite happily trade a fully tuned with x miles for a stock/0miles car!

I'm 30 short of all premiums, once i've done that I will be starting a thread getting rid of all my tuned models which I have no plans to use again so I can replace them for stock 0mile version

Keep a eye out ;)

I'll be keeping a look out definately. I don't care if cars are tuned or have high milage!

Personally, I like to time trial unmodified cars. The easiest way to ensure a level playing field is to standardise the process: have them on the same tyre compound, have an oil change, no modifications and to have 0 miles. When an engine wears in it gains power and torque, so, this would blur the time trial results. Plus, it's natural to want fresh things - in real life, would you rather have a new car with zero miles or one with 10,000 miles? It's a no brainer, and hence your question is a little silly.

I don't quite understand the "backing up your save" thing.

You are only allowed to have like 16 user id's to glitch with, then you have to delete them and start over.

Unless you are talking about having 200 USB sticks and saving the ID you created with it and restoring that game each time....which would be very expensive....or am I missing something?
