'06 GTP Road Cross: Signing-up, rules, info, etc.

Hi and welcome to GTP’s 2006 Road Cross championship. This championship is a race for all road cars in Gran Turismo 4, this championship will take the drivers to every corner of Gran Turismo 4.

Cars and classes:​

Super-GT: Cars with more than 650HP and have R5 tires

GT1: Cars between 500-650 HP and have R3 tires

GT2: Cars between 280-500HP and have S3 tires (soft)

GT3: Cars between /-280 HP and have S2 tires (medium)

Classic car: Cars which were build before 1980 and have S2 tires (medium)

Racing, rally and concept cars are not allowed in this event!

Tracks:​

Stage I: El Capitan forward
Stage II: El Capitan reverse
Stage III: La Sarthe I
Stage IV: La Sarthe II
Stage V Super Racing Weekend(SRW): 5 lap race at Infineon Raceway
Stage VI: Midfield Raceway forward
Stage VII: Midfield Raceway reverse
Stage VIII SRW: 3 lap race at the Nürburgring Nordschleife
Stage IX: Suzuka Circuit
Stage X SRW: 15 lap enduro at Motegi Raceway (long track)

Stage I, II, III, IV, VI, VII and VIII will be hotlap races, the rest will be multiple lap races.

Leaderbord:​

Drivers won’t be awarded with points, they’ll be listed be their total times; for example:

Player 1-Stage I: 1’50s
Player 2-Stage I: 1’49s

After stage I:

Player 1: 1’50s
Player 2: +1.00s

Rules:​

You will follow standard OLR rules, that means:

No cheating, grass or track cutting, wall touching or other objects, hybrids or whatever method which can be unfair in your advance.

Submitting you lap times:​

You will PM me your time together with all the necessary data such as car, driver name, etc.

You will NOT post your times here on the forums, even T-times are not allowed!

If you can, it would be nice to post some pictures with a USB or whatever device possible or even send me replays, this won’t be used as verification but to give me some work making a nice report for every stage.

I will post up a warm-up race at the end of June, if succesful, we’ll start in the beginning of July, every class needs at least 2 drivers!

I'm sort of interested, but...if the above is true, then, you can switch cars? If you have a 650+ HP Skyline, you won't be able to make those modifications in Arcade Mode, only GT Mode.

Exactly, so that means GT Mode, there could be a Stage XI added though were we could race them in stock without the classes.

However. I won't be able to commit fully until after my BC6 deadline (late june/early july). I'll get back you you with a car later.

EDIT: Ok. I'm going to run a fully modded Nissan R390 GT1 Road Car '98. In the Super-GT class. I might run in another division too if that's cool. 👍

I've got a slight problem though. I did have tonnes of cars on GT4, but my save game has recently just gone. Whether I deleted whilst trying to delete something else, or it just disappeared itself I don't know, but if I join it'll probably have to be in -280hp.
