Did Update 1.09 affect the ability to Rubber band and grind away in the 10 lap Indy race?

Yes it goes backwards now - Indy on Reverse lol

It doesn't work for me any more either...right after the 1.09 update. I just assumed this was part of the "glitch" fixing.

what is this nonsense; I just grinded some cr this weekend it works just fine. get better rubber bands if its not working for you :D

You must be doing something wrong, worked perfectly fine for me yesterday. I usually don't bother with this any more but needed a few extra credits, and wanted to watch a film at the same time so 'auto grinded' the LTW Indy race and got a couple of million credits. 👍

Should still work. Setting sensitivity to -2 and top speed to 450km/h might help you find the proper setup. You should be around 420km/h at the end of the straights for an easy win @LTW

Well rubberband grinding works well for me.

I upgraded to 1.09 and it appears to still be working for me as well.

I have two different usb keyboards, both fully charged, one the batteries are brand new. The enter button will no longer register if held down so it does one race and stops there. I also have two different PS3's and it does the same on both of them. I've checked all the "user error" possibilities (number lock is on, correct usb in ps3 etc)and everything is fine. They are both Logitech keyboards.

I don't do the grind anyway, I did it a bit when I first heard about it but not much after that. I tried it after 1.09 though out of curiosity, and again after posting here...same results. Two different keyboards, two different ps3's seems too much to be coincidental. If it works for others great, but maybe me and the op have some particular detail that others don't. Dunno.

Couple things. Make sure you're using the enter button at the number pad. Also, since it's battery operated it may purposely stop registering a held down key to preserve the batteries.

BTW....I've been grinding the last 6 hours just fine.

I bought me a monkey and taught him to grind for me while I'm at work. It's much easier and I feel proud doing it.👎

They need more reverse courses.

I can't imagine Nurburgring reverse going quite well in a race. Even if you aren't used to driving the forward way.
