1/8th Mile Drag

I was thinking that would be sick to tune for, especially for the 4WD's :D but i'm not sure what course would be best.

Now THOSE would be short ratios... But the only car that could compete would be the GT-R.
 
i can think of a lot of awd cars that can compete with the gtr on the 1/8, we just need to find the 1/8 :)

sounds like a great idea but only you can see it, cause every time one join a room the boxes are reset to original position, i've seen people moving their boxes and on my view I don't get to see the box that they are moving, now what we can have its someone as ghost marking the 1/8, or use monza witch it had multiple line markers were it could be measure to find the 1/8 :)
 
I've been in rooms with people coming and going all evening and never saw the boxes get re-set....or maybe I'm just becoming a doddering old man who doesn't notice stuff anymore ???

no, you go my message wrong, what i mean for a sample, when a room its been open for a while, racers already move the boxes, now when you enter that room that the boxes got moved, you will find the boxes in the original position on your screen, but to the racers that have been there before you the boxes aren't in the original position cause they already moved them, im trying to explain it as simple as it gets, if there's a simpler way for you to understand what im trying to explain then im sorry, I don't speak that language :)
 
Ok. Gotcha, So the only way it would be effective is to set up a private lounge and get everybody into the room before moving the boxes.

Like?

All the cars that beat the GT-R on 1/4 do so on top end. The only cars that beats the GT-R off the line are the Veyron and X1.

Might not beat it but may get almost as good.. I reckon the no stripe has one of the best launches for a non AWD car

No Stripe is the hardest launching RWD car, but still cannot compete with the GT-R.

Yea that's what I thought.. I didn't say that it would beat it off the line just that it wouldn't or shouldn't be too far off either

Even the nostripe with it's great launch can't out run the gtr before 1/8 th mile. It gets quite a few lenths off the line, too many to be called close. Even most Awd cars will get beat by a good gtr, and a great gtr can't be beat to the 60 foot.
 
I've beaten a few GTRs with it but the clearly weren't tuned correctly. However, I have regularly beaten GTRs off the line and accelerated ahead then lost on top end.
 
We here in Adelaide Australia just had the 1/8 mile drag's back after almost 10 years, some very nice car's hitting 189mph on the 1\8th mile. plenty of top doorslammers with 1500hp+

If you get a lemanes right i think it could beat a gtr off the line and the lambo sv670.

Le Mans will keep up with the GT-R's launch, but usually gets the pull after the half-way mark. Same with lambo but it doesn't pull.

True but it all depend's on the launch and the tuner i have watched some lambos get the pull on the gtr and have watched get a hard launch.

Yes, I usually come out in a lambo or R8 when I see a bunch of GT-Rs. Then if I get beat, I pull out my GT-R. But it's really funny when some guy in his R-35 TC beats you in a lambo then says how slow you are :lol:
