I had done everything right I thought I had succeeded when the inscription Gran turismo 5 mod below on the right came out but after that STOP .. all black .. what is this due in your opinion? i have multiman 4.81 and irisman 4.88 my xmb is at 4.82 ... i ask you if hen is needed?
i would love to play online with you guys help me
If you use ver. 1.8.1, change to ver. 1.7.1 that work to my ps3 hen
 
You only copy the contents of PDIPFS to your game folder, PDIPFS original folder will uninstall the mod.

EDIT - By the way, the Master Mod has been updated to 1.8.1. Main change is that the debug camera is an optional install.
Which would be K and 9, correct?
Because I have the same problem that Mattiko88 described in post #221.
Nothing but a black screen after the warning screen. 😞

Correct. I don't know what could be causing the black screen. But there's this...

I actually upgraded from 2.01 and stopped after 10 updates to land on 2.11. I finally got it yesterday! :D Instead of using the latest update (which was 1.80) this time, I wanted to see if 1.70 would work & it did. Because I decided to try that based on what Tonis said on post #241.
Btw, I have cfw fat PS3.
Hope the guys doing these mods, keep coming w/improved updates. Keep up the good work, yo!! 😎👍
 
Why doesn't my language choice on debug menu stick? Every time i start the game it defaults to US and I have to use american measurements.
 
Hello everyone, When I select standart cars on arcade mod, game is freezing on race start screen. I m using ps3 4.89 with master mod 1.8.1 lastest version. How can I fix this problem?
 
You may have heard of me in a few threads here or in other places - I've created tools to view and edit the game. This mod is a result of all the research that has been made towards the game compiled into one.

This mod adds several features to the game - mainly hidden ones and trust me, there are a lot. A lot of these features were used by Polyphony Digital to help developing the game.

1. LAN Mod
This is based off the original LAN Mod made by Razerman. A couple fixes and improvements were made:
  • Chat logs now display properly when activating "Online Lounge Demo" in Secret Settings (which allows names to appear properly to others).
  • 3 new car set restrictions were added. (Could not add more, the game doesn't load them properly for some reason.)
  • The original LAN Mod broke the regular Rome track. This is fixed.
  • The original LAN Mod broke Course Maker and GT TV. These options are now accessible again.
  • More cars are available in the Arcade Section, which also appears in Recommended and people can use without owning them. Also means that you can do more specific One-Make races.
  • Shuffle now goes from 240 PP to 1000 instead of the original 300 to 500. The upper PP ranges car list was imported from GTPSP's Shuffle list.
  • Added three new car categories regulations - Tuned Car Class, Historic Cars (20 mil race cars), and Schwardzwald League B.
  • Time to finish minimum can now be changed down to 10 seconds instead of 20.
  • Now possible to use Karts and F1's without the one make restriction.

The game has nearly all of the PS2 era tracks. 42 of them are included in this mod.

Note: Removed for the time being - needs some polishing.

Roughly 15 of them. Unfortunately game progress does not work for them (hardcoded).
Custom car rewards have been added for them (will require a fresh save).

4. QA Menu
Allows you to easily edit your save ingame, unlock DLCs directly, used by testers during development.
Pressing SELECT on the main menu.

A bypass rather than hidden feature. You can use standard cars in Photo Travel.

(Events are located at textdata/gt5 if you want to make custom events.)

You can set the track length, and type of track. Yes you can now make Point-To-Point tracks. You can also drive your current GT Mode car during testing.

Is there anyway to package the mod into a PKG file, so we can install it similar as game patch ?
Today, to use the mod just to copy all files and overwrite the orignal folder one tested this with RPCS3.

Hi guys, i'm new here. Living in the Netherlands in Europe. I looked at some video's of this beautiful mod, would love to drive with GT5 on the GT4 circuit's. With the Red Bull x2010 Sebastian Vettel on Costa di Amalfi for example. Unfortunately for me, the downloadlink from mediafire won't download. Unless you upgrade from basic to pro or business, you'll need a creditcard to do so which i haven't. Is there a different link where i can download this mod?

Gran Turismo 6 will have a similar treatment. There are several debug features in there including menus.
Creating events for it is also much more customizable than GT5 - it is an improvement in almost every way. Most notably AI scripting directly within an XML file, for the Sierra events.

Events are XML, you can edit them with any text editor.
Does it mean the AI could be implemented in players' lobbies?
 
Hi everyone, how are you? Will this allow me to win the online trophies? (Share photos and courses)
Since you won't be able to connect to the internet* with custom firmware and the master mod installed, trophies unlocked can only be obtained locally - so no PSN trophies (although you may need to be signed into PSN to earn trophies in the first place but I'm not sure). While a save editor can help you get many of the trophies on the normal version of GT5 or a normal PS3, since the servers have been shut down some trophies are impossible to obtain.

*Connecting to PSN with a CFW PS3 won't go down well. Expect a ban.
 
it's sad that there are almost no more people playing GT5's LAN. Maybe a future arrival of LAN GT6 will bring the GT community back to play together. If you want to play GT5 with me, don't hesitate to tell me

I regularly check the Xlink Kai account which lists the number of games currently played and GT5 is less and less present on Xlink Kai

I'm wondering how is it that some people are winning these trophies. For example, if you go to proud owner (https://www.playstationtrophies.org/game/gran-turismo-5/trophy/23935-proud-owner.html), in "recently unlocked by" you see people from 2022.

Any ideas?
Well, there are still playing GT5 normally. And then there are those who got the trophies playing with edited saves, which is how I got most of the trophies.
 
@Aymeric that's really sad. I hope GT6 LAN makes the 5 come back.

@Doomotron thank you, but I'm wondering about the online trophies. Even if you're playing GT5 normally (as I am) it shouldn't be possible to win them with the servers shut down. However, some people win them from time to time (that's the link I shared in my previous comment). My question is how.
