Are you serious? I know I wouldn't bother reversing in the middle of a race. And as far as the whole neutral thing is concerned, I wouldn't mind that in the beginning of a race, but it would suck alot if I accidentally switched into first gear and left my starting position before I was supposed to.

I wouldn't mind it, but IMO reverse lights and neutral aren't that important

I'm surprised by how many people don't know how to engage neutral in GT. Just tap the handbrake.

Let's assume that neutral wasn't in GT3. I totally forgot, because my GT3 has been scratched/not working on my PS2 for about a year now.. Thanks for re-reminding me Sven. I am SO looking forward to GT4 and never letting anyone borrow it... ever
 
Yes, put your car on a steep hill (seattle), and put it into neutral (it rolls) engage a gear it will ' brake' on the gear.
