Someone mentioned Dexter Hollan. Dexter is legendary. I wouldn't say hey was that extrodinary, but still a great vocalist imo.

No, however bad his music is, his voice is quite recognisable. I saw on TV an ad for his album, then heard a song on the radio days later and thought about it, and said "Craig David".

Brian Johnson sang Thunderstruck.

Bon Scott was AC/DC's original singer, but he died and Brian Johnson replaced him. Most of AC/DC's big hits came with Brian Johnson as the front man.

Oh and Bon Scott and Brian Johnson have very similar voices, so they're not terribly unique.

for the record, I don't hate AD/DC at all.
