Yep, it's a pretty determining factor.  :)

Man those logo's are awesome! :)

Hopefully IB3 Gold comes out soon, cos one of my best posters at my forums, is having lots of problems with my new ones. He can't even open a forum there. :(

Thank you.

Yes, a client of mine is have big problems with iB3 because it is not currently in Gold.  I CANNOT WAIT!!  The thing that bothers me the most is the email functions (I don't think they are working...)

Speaking of iB3, I think I have GTPlanet's complete new re-design finished in my head incorporating the new version...  But, I need Dreamweaver!

New site design for the forums, or for the whole site?

I have Dreamweaver...

The entire site.  :)  Even though you have Dreamweaver, though, I couldn't put that load on you, I update the site too much (I know I haven't lately, but hey - I've been on vacation!  ).

Time for some nostalgy, I was browsing old threads and found this one. :)

Way to go GTP! This place has really grown, I guess it's because Jordan always goes for quality in all his work with developing it.

When will we se a "100.000" members thread? Could be soon. :)

I sure hope not. With the 77,000+ members we have currently there are only a couple hundred worth talking to ;)

(:

There were tons of people back when GT4 launched. I remember that. We broke the old record about 5 times that day I think...

Is it me, or have there been A LOT more old threads being revived recently than normal?

I guess reviving old threads is the new chick avatar fad 👍

It happens occationally. When old members get tired of new members' meaningless rants, they'll go digging for what used to make them happy. Looking for memories.

yeah, I know what your saying, I just revived an old one today. And it doesn't matter what you revive, some new member always complains.. stupid complainer :grumpy:

Hmm yeah, probably so. Mabye when the next GT comes out the number of users will take a leap again.

Could be so, I don't know. :)

I think this thread has something special about it. It's subject together with how old it is, it's sort of an artefact for all work and development that has been put into this site.

This thread makes gtplanet sound like something that was originally set up as a between friends thing, but over the years, it's got bigger and bigger, and now it's a global thing that you find on google.

Are you basically saying it's gone form a family run eatery to a corporate chain? j/k

Search your username on google, it will appear and is better for post searches than GTP own search function

Makes it sound that way? Hell, it was that way. I remember the days I could make a post, and it'd be on the new posts page for 3 days before getting bumped off.

I blame the GTF for GTP's small group of people getting taken over. Boo you GTF'ers!

Mmmhmm.

I guess I am guilty of reviving old threads, as I am interested in what has made GTPlanet 'tick' in the past. It is interesting to see what people were discussing before i arrived here.

-edit-
I just did it again didn't I?

Well, as I said, it is interesting to see where GTPlanet has come from, compare where is was, where it is, and where it is headed for the future. Awesome work Jordan and co. for all your achievements with GTPlanet.

Looking at old threads is fine, but please only post in them if you have something relevant to say.
