yea i sort of expected that but i think a lot more of the gt5 premiums should be able to go above 1000 BHP.
and does it require using the titanium exhaust?
i hate the noise it makes

There are a lot more cars that are under 1000 that are better than most over 1000. Just keep that in mind. Plus it is more the driver than the car.

Id love for a R34 to be 1000+ break, & im with you on the exhaust thing SkateNj, i sometimes keep the original exhaust on, sounds Alot better.

Go win the Veyron, 1000+ and 4WD. People will hate on you online cause they can't catch you but I love the car.

Yea I don't know why the Veyron isn't buyable from New Car Dealers. They have old and classic cars in dealers.

Would have liked other Bugatti cars in the game to, but that's another topic.

the new car dealership gives only premium cars, the ucd gives all of the standard cars.

yea but tuning in this is very unrealistic many cars in the game can be tuned up to 1500 BHP+
Like the Ford GT for example i know a bud that i go to car shows with that has a 1621 WHP
and its street legal too :D
Ford GT. And yes i know some 800 BHP cars can perform better than 1000 but its just a feeling and noise that you get from driving one is just pure ecstasy. Especially knowing what a pull feels like in a 1600 WHP car

and the reason i dont really care about standard cars is just i dont like not driving cockpit view with a steering wheel. If they created a decent generic cockpit and enhanced the look of them it would be perfectly fine

typical american

Please don't go there. I know the stereotypical 'American' likes fast straightline muscle cars, but that's not everyone, or even typical.

I, and many of my friends for example, greatly prefer Formula 1 and Le Mans to Nascar and '1000+ bph monsters'. So please don't go saying 'typical americans' are muscle car meatheads.

typical american

nope im actually not your typical fat lets go eat burgers on my couch america.
i love all types of cars from k-cars to le mans prototypes to muscle cars to british superlights.
but you obviously havent been in a very very high powered car in real life right?
because it is an amazing feeling.
i actually prefer european and asian cars to american cars but i do like to have just a very nice fast throaty sounding 1000 BHP monster
so you can shut your dumb stereotypical ass up

Hp isnt everything, and now im speaking of ssr7 drag and indy 1/4 mile. The weight, aerodymanic, hp/tq curve also affects very much.

I also like hp, whats the problem with that? And yes, tuning is unrealistic in gt5, the hp is flawed....

Huh 1600 hp ford GT, i hardly believe that, which runing company did he send his car to? And street legal, sure, thats BS.

heres an example of a 1500 BHP ford gt thats street legal.
and ill get back to you on that second part ill ask him in a bit
and like i said before i just love the noise and feeling you get from driving such a powerful car and wish there were more cars that can be tuned that high

His picture is a Porsche? Hardly a "typical American".

i like porsche's the first time ive every saw one was when i was 6 at a car show and i believe it was an 82? and i just fell in love with them

^to lord
it is a truly magical experience being in a car that powerful especially a gt

hey skatej, your right, nothing beats the feeling of being pinned to your seat!
no where near 1000bhp but i had a ride in a friends AC cobra. I think it was a 7.2 litre or something, when the hammer went down it was amazing! :) shame the driver didnt like corners tho :)

yea man you know that feeling. but if it had 1600 WHP and no headrests like older cars like the ac your neck would snap xD

and there was a stage 4? holy crap! PD needs to bring that back lol

Na, hp is "fine" as it is, stage 4 or 5 wont help, because its the hp numbers that should be fixed from the first beginning.

I hardly believe those 1500 hp cars are street legal if you should be picky, because it depends on which state you are living in, and emissions etc. I dont care about the law, but its a differance between 1600 hp and 1500 hp. It also depends on which dyno you test your car on, and if its crank hp or rear wheel hp. Ask your friend man...

typical american

Stereotypical American, don't you mean?
There are a lot of Nascar and drag racing fans, but there is also Daytona Prototypes and plenty of endurance races in America.

I'm happy about the horsepower... it's realistic.
Yes you can tune R34s to 1000+ WHP, but they aren't track cars.

typical american

Closed minded dolt.

And for everyone else...whats wrong with NASCAR or Drag races??? Really??

I personally dont get NASCAR, but obviously LOTS of people do. It makes money, it makes news, and it is in your beloved GT5. Its racing, and it has fast cars. Many of its drivers also drive in other disciplines.

Drag is the same way, except I can get into that. Funny how its considered so American yet its popular all over the world. Get a clue.

I am so sick of Americans saying they are different than other Americans. Like its so damn bad to like where you are from. Holy crap people, get some pride and stop jumping to defend where you are from (whatever country that is), its pathetic.

Relax...vax
Stereotypes are funny, im a brit so my teeth are brown right, your from texas so you shoot roadsigns and your name is Cletus. Its the same with motorsports and cars. Brits like em light for the corners, americans like em fast in a straight line. It only bothers people if used in a nasty way. Enjoy the fun and if anyone takes it too far then "fetch the shotgun pa"!
peace

I say you should be able to tune the lamborghini's and ferraris with Underground Racing TT kits and other parts. We need a 1900hp straight line beast of a gallardo that can pull its front wheels off the ground
