From what Ive heard Peugeot didn't do so well and many cars were sent home on the wrecker, so I'm interested on how this race will turn out.
 
I'm getting the race live on eurosport (previously on eurosport2 too), do you have to pay for eurosport in the UK?

(Meanwhile, Tom Kristensen is trying to spoil a full Peugeot podium and got into 3rd, menacing 2nd). Mr. Le Mans at work ... always a sight to see! 👍

Yea I tried going on eurosport and accessing the live player but it told me I don't have access due to my location or something like that.

It depends on your tv package, you get it free with most Sky packages - I've been watching it all afternoon.

EDIT: Lucas Ordonez is on radio le mans right now
 
Pagenaud (Highcroft driver in ALMS, Peugeot driver for Le Mans and Spa) is giving it all to recover the 3rd place from Kristensen. He just did the Peugeot's #9 best lap in this race!

A bit unfair, the penalty to J. Melo. He gave the place back as soon as he understood it was a yellow flag situation.
 
Yea if you go on the Peugeot Sport website it has the best coverage there are onboard cameras for the Peugeot cars and then TV coverage life thats your best bet if youre living in the US
 
Pescarolo are doing very well. Who thinks they have a chance at Le Mans next year or in 2013? I think they could well have a chance.👍

Yea Audi is disappointing me right now. Audi No.2 just shut off coming around the last corner and Audi No.1 came into pit the same time as No.2 but Kirstensen is still out there so maybe he can buckle down and try to gain some ground on the Peugeots

Hope not, I'm rooting for Peugeot until Pescarolo have a decent chance.

At victory? No chance. Not even the podium is likely. The closest they ever came was 2006 and that was with only 2 Audis to fight and one of them suffered reliability issues. They simply can't compete with the huge budgets of Peugoet and Audi. Maybe if they still had a 908 to use, but they don't.
For Pescarolo to win, they need either some manufacturer backing, some seriously big sponsorship or for all the major manufacturers to leave.
 
SOOOOOO, Team Peugeot takes the Win, Audi did OK I still have some faith in them for the 24 hours of le mans we'll just see how it plays out.

Well done Alex Wurz, man of the race no doubt, his 1st stint was exceptional! McNish, one of the most likeable guys in LM racing, did mess up at the start, but indeed the #3 Audi crew is a class apart.

Roll on LE MANS! 👍

5th in class and on the same lap as 4th place. He was interviewed on Radio Le Mans as well.
 
In terms of pace, Audi and Peugeot are closer than I thought they would be. Fisihichella had a great drive in the 458 Italia.

I'm looking forward to some great battles at Le Mans next month!
 
Had a marvelous day at Spa today with MarcoM. Too bad that after a few laps it was unclear for us who was driving at which position. There was only a big screen at the finish line and hardly any loudspeakers. But is was fun watching and hearing these cars fly by. 👍
 
That was some race by Peugeot today. Very quick getting through the field as well.👍
