Had a marvelous day at Spa today with MarcoM. Too bad that after a few laps it was unclear for us who was driving at which position. There was only a big screen at the finish line and hardly any loudspeakers. But is was fun watching and hearing these cars fly by. 👍

I was actually thinking Audi was in front all the time. Strange thing is that you do not hear the engine or exhaust the Audis. You only hear the wind and tyre noise. And in the braking zone you hear the friction of the pads. No backfire noises at all

The 458 Italia cars have really nice sound. A tad louder than the 430's. But nothing beats the Corvette's. That is just so loud and low. Really nice

It sure was a nice way to spend a May Saturday

I was in Belgium with Easter to visit my family. You simply cannot believe how frustrated I feel for not traveling 2 weeks later and be actually there at Spa! Might try and plan my visit accordingly for next year! 👍

MarcoM, sad I did not make it. The Centre Pompidou Metz, was nice, but no hurling cars (well had some in town in the evening).

But where is the traditional "we had a beer together picture"?

Hi Vincent,

Although I would give a leg to go to the Nordschleife during the 24h, this year we have scheduled a birthday in that weekend.

But for the other two events, or at least one of them, I am in!
