It doesn't. Nor - in the poll, which is what you seem concerned with - does it specify currency. Waiting for my Japanese luxury beater still.
AMCNUTI think the OP should stipulate that the boundary for 'other' should only go so far as to encompass cars that could be reasonably cross-shopped with the cars on the list.
Again, you care enough to keep this going.
I'm sticking with my car choice, and have given my reasons for choosing said car.
Show me where it says the car HAS to be in the same size/price class if one chooses "other" in the poll.
It is saying which sedan is priced at $100,000 is best. The 'other' option is if you prefer a different $100,000 sedan.

E28Except this is about luxury sedans...
PupikThe title says $100,000 sedans. Says actually nothing about being "luxury".
Let's not completely water down the thread, I think the intent of the thread is for sedans that are in that price range.
Less hair splitting, more on-topic talk. You're free to start another thread for cars for whatever price range/category/model range you want.
homeforsummerHave you actually driven the XJ? I struggle to think of anything it could do better, save for the love/hate rear end. Most reviews I've read of the car seem to back that up, too.
Funnily enough, I haven't.
I just find the others as better from personal experience of the current models and the older generations. The XJ and Quattroporte are the two I haven't driven and therefore I cannot give my opinion on those, which is why I stuck faithfully to the BMW and Mercedes.
