I love doing this. And I'll do burnouts and say with a southern accent "we southern boys ain't car drifters, we, uh, truck burnouters". Not very funny unless you hear it.

For some people, learning how to drive with no assists and manual transition. It adds a lot more to the game.. Once you think you have it down, go take a Ferrari F40 to the Nurburgring and then realize your no longer a man.

I didn't force you to read this thread . . .

. . . and I am not bored of GT5 at this moment, this thread is to give people suggestions of things to do if/when they get bored eventually.

Go be a troll somewhere else. :)

#11 Use GT5's main menu to take photomode pictures of Standard cars

#12 Use the demo thing it does as an epic music visualiser, Random races done to the music on your PS3... Really really cool
 
Another one for teh mighty Nurburgring:

In a GT race car, race in the 24 hours, you're gonna love racing in the pitch black circuit.
 
Fit dirt tyres on a stock GTR v spec 09 and do eiger k trail no aids, so much fun :)
 
OK, I have others I could throw in, but I'll add a potentially controversial one to the list:

Play B-Spec

B-Spec - seriously?

Why would I even suggest it?
Well, from personal experience...

a. You don't know the true meaning of bored with GT5 until you've become bored with B-Spec.
b. B-Spec is the ultimate grinding and cash-making machine that will allow you to buy any and every car you could ever want in GT5.
c. You're missing out on some great prize/free cars with B-Spec, such as the Mazda Furai, Toyota 7, and Red Bull X2010 S. Vettel - just for hitting Level 35!
d. Becoming bored with B-Spec is a great motivator to give A-Spec another try - even if it means you'll play A-Spec with a DC3 controller versus hooking up a steering wheel.

Get an original mini, then fully tune it and then do the Nurb with full day/night cycle and weather without any assists. :sly:
 
When GT5 starts to bore me I use the Jay Leno tank car, add +200 kilograms of weight and do a few laps on Chamonix race track. The tank Car is an excellent drift car and watching 3700 kilograms of steel jump over bumps is pretty entertaining. :sly:

Let's see...

Go online solely for the purpose of watching people get trashed in the first corner. :)

Use said first corner to your advantage and whoop high powered cars by not crashing in your under powered cars. (Odyssey vs Super GT ftw)

Make an undrivable bounce-mobile by messing with the suspension on large SUVs.

Make a new driver in B-spec, give him a wickedly powerful car that you've tuned to be awful for handling and set him in a high level race. Enjoy the ensuing carnage.
 
Wait for the next seasonals for a few hours of new entertainment. Rinse, repeat.
 
tune/tweak RWD cars to do a wheelie down the complete front straight of high speed ring... :)
 
16. collect all the cars, drive every car on every track( include reverse and time weather change version) flawlessly then save a 1 lap replay of every car on every tracks,convert all to video file ,upload all onto youtube with a playlist.
17. everything almost the same as #16 but take a picture instead of convert video to upload. Print all the picture then put it in a photo album.

P.S. all of them come with detail description.

#20. drink and drive! its fun! 👍 (if you have more than 18. years)
#21.smoke and fly 👍 (if you have nothing to do, are older than 18 years, and have no brains left)
#22. do Nr 20 and 21 both and play online with friends, even more fun, will never get boored in GT5!
#23. buy a wheel and learn to drift.
#24. do Nr 20, 21, 22 and 23 together with friends who are doing same rules as you... :sly: lol
 
Online is where it's at these days. I have two suggestions.

1) Create a room with these settings:
Eiger Short
500PP
Sport hard
No Race Cars

2) This may be removed due to PSN terms of use agreement.
You can find real money races...(look hard)
If by me mentioning this upsets anyone, sorry, just throwing it out there.

And when they get bored than what?? You'd be moving on from group to group... Would you be whoring yourself around just to have a good time? some ppl might percieve this as a symptom of addiction YOU NEED INTERVENTION lets all sit in a circle and read the letters we wrote to geo_2009...
