I don't get it. Why isn't Alonso first yet.

@Northstar I don't think that's a planned strategy. It's a botched rookie start.

I was out of the room when they started talking about it, so I only heard the last bit. :cheers:
 
Alonso is in the lead pack and moving up, so doing just fine.

Roger Penske's Chevrolets don't seem to be doing terribly well. Bad sign for them.
 
Alonso pedals a rare outside pass into Turn 1 for 5th.
 
Ganassi cars being trimmed out looks like a bad call.

Alonso was very slow entering the box and lost alot of time.
 
This is the first IndyCar event I have ever watched. Where it not for Fernando I would not watch it either.

Somehow Alonso is in third after the pitstops. He didn't bother to ask for any changes to his car!

Love seeing Alonso out front but as an Andretti fan I know this race will rip your heart out
 
If this was the Freedom 100 I would be excited. Its way,way too early to start jumping up an down yet.
 
So it's Rossi, Alonso, and Sato in top 3. F1 trying to take over.
 
Rossi - Alonso - Sato. Just need Montoya and Chilton there and it's all the F1 drivers.
