THE HACHI KING
What exactly do you mean by orignal turbo, because i fully tuned a spec c and it only made 417 horsepower on the totally stock turbo. I had to put on a racing intercooler and a stage 3 turbo to get 524 horsepower with the oil change so theres no way u could have used the orignal turbo, unless you know somthimng i don't?
SORRY, i meant original turbo from tuner village.
"he used a 524hp impreza"
"i used my 522hp spec c (original turbo)"
THE HACHI KING
So i did another 20 laps, and the best time i got not using any nitrous was 1'08.143, but it ran every lap of the 20 in the 1'08 second range! Then i used nitrous and the best lap time i got (using the same setup) was 1'06.113 wich is extremely fast! But as you can see he obviously had to use RSS tires and nitrous to get the lap time he got and not mention a killer setup because this car was pretty tuned and even had 531 horsepower in stead of his 524 horsepower. So i say this myth is BUSTED!
at the beginning of this thread i thought he used sports tires (because that's what he said). now as i said above he corrected himself and said he meant RSS (R5). so i tried it with those and got a time of 1'05.5xx without nitro, i don't remember the last two digits because i exited the race and went to main menu... i was too excited. so i guess 1'04.xxx is possible without nitro because i ain't the best in the world

Got a 1'02.148 on my second lap in the Spec C, had 526 HP I believe.

Got to try this.

Edit: was it forward or backward?

Just for comparisons sake i took the Subaru Impreza WRX STI sedan 2002 model out on 20 laps at midfield forward and the car was totally stock not even an oil change just bone stock. and i did a time attack just to show the potiential of this car not only in stock form but also in a fully tuned format and the results speak for themselves! The lap time was 1'23.057 in bone stock form!

I then did the same with a totally stock version of the Subaru Imrpeza sedan WRX STI spec C 2004 model, also in totally bone stock condition not even with an oil change! I took it on the same track for 20 laps and the best time i could achieve was 1'21.522. In totally stock form!

That right there shows you the difference between those two cars in there totally stock forms! :) 👍

I have enjoyed testing these different versions of the subaru WRX so i went to the used car showroom and purchased 8 different kinds of Subaru WRX models. I will be posting there times both in totally stock form and there fully tuned forms. I also will test the different race cars and rally cars, so therre is lot's to come, i hope you will mabey participate and enjoy!

By the way all the times i have posted and will ever post all were done using the Driving Force Pro steering wheel. I hate the controller!!!!

:)

ALRIGHT ITS NOW TIME TO TEST SOME MORE SUBARUS! i will be testing the fully tuned form of the subaru impreza sedan wrx sti spec c 04 model! I did 20 laps around midfield and the best time i could get was 1'14.696. the understeer was horrible, thats how i realized i was using the wrong tires! This was achieved in my first three laps but i then realized i was using medium racing tires and the tires I had been using for all the past tests were super soft race tires so i will now do the test with super softs. this will also allow me to show u guys the difference between tires and how they affect a certain car! ok so the time with super softs-1'06.978, then i took two laps and used the nitrous and the best time i could get was 1'05.489!

Now i will be testing the stock and fully tuned forms of the subaru impreza sedan wrx sti version IV (GC) '99 model wich i bought used with 23,562.8 miles on the odometer, and at that time it made about 268 horsepower so i then gave it an oil change and a car wash and it made 290 horsepower! The best time i was able to achieve was 1'23.302!
So i then fully tuned the car, gave it another oil change and car wash, lowered the ride height all the way down and decreased the gera ratios, and then it made 502 horsepower. Now as you all can tell that is a lot of power and just for comparision if you compare the horsepower to the size of the 502 cuibc inch big block V8's that are offered by GM PERFORMANCE PARTS it may not make the same horsepower as the engine wich is 520 horspower but compared to the size that would be 1 horspower per every cuibic inch that is some serious power and performance. Any way sorry for gettin off of track there, So then I went another 20 laps and the best time i could get was 1'07.925! So then of course i went two laps with nitrous and the best time i could get was 1'06.540!

MORE SUBARUS TO COME LATER, BUT NOW IS BREAK TIME!!!!!!!!!! :)

alright boys and girls break time is over now the next few cars up to be tested.

The first car is going to be the subaru impreza sport wagon wrx sti version vi (GF) 1999. first it will be tested totally stock but i bought this one used and it has 22,483.1 miles and making 260 horsepower so the only thing i did was a oil change and a car wash then it made 290 horsepower. I am going to take it for 20 laps around midfield. the best time i could get was 1'23.446. so i then fully tuned the car and lowered it all the way and increased the gear ratios by about 2. the total horsepower was brought up to 500 horsepower! Then i gave it another oil change and car wash. the best time i could get was 1'10.299. then i went two laps with nitrous and the best time i could get was 1'09.353!

Now i am going totest the stock version of the Subaru IMPREZA Sport Wagon STi (GG, Type-1) '00 model and i bought this car used and it had 27,996.2 miles on the odometer and made 279 horsepower before the oil change. So i gave it an oil change and a car wash and it now has 310 horsepower! So i took it for 20 laps at midfield and the best time i could manage was 1'22.950! Then i fully tuned the subaru, oil change, car wash, increased the gear ratios by about 2, and lowered the ride height to the lowest setting, all equated to horsepower of 502! So i then proceded to do 20 laps around midfield and the best time i could get was 1'08.215! So i then did two laps with nitrous and the best time i could get was 1'06.203!

Okay now i am going to test 6 cars!

The first car up is the Subaru IMPREZA Sedan WRX STi Version III (GC) '96! I bought this car used and it had 37,939.0 miles and produced 53 horsepower. so i gave it an oil change and the horsepower is now 280! Okay so as usal i took it for 20 laps at midfield and the best time i could crank out was 1'23.789! So then i fully tuned it increased the gear ratios a little, oil chnage, car wash, and lowered the suspension all the way down, the horsepower was then 482, and the best i could crank out was 1'08.640!

The next car i am going to test is the Subaru IMPREZA Sedan WRX STI Version IV (GC) '97. This is basically the 1997 model of the last car i tested but this one has different features for the new year. Anyway i bought this car used also and it had 34,077.1 miles and produced 255 horsepower. so i changed the oil and gave it a car wash and now it produces 282 horsepower! So i took it out for 20 lpas around midfield and the best time i could crank was 1'23.817! So then i fully tuned the car and did the same thing as i did in the other test and it cranked out 486 horsepower!

Well i have to take a break all this driving is hurting my hands i will finish the rest of the cars within a couple of days! Talk to you guys then!!! :) :) :)

i got 1'05.535 twice... i was really close to the ghost and i was hoping to beat the time of 1'05.535 but when i passed the finishing line the time between me and the ghost said 0'00.000.

i use super soft racing tires, and no nitros. i haven't tried it with nitros yet, i'm too scared of the NAWZ!!!1

I have chosen to name all of the post i have made on this thread part of the event i created wich is the "Subaru Shootout"!

Anyway lets continue with the last car i left off with i did 20 laps around midfield raceway and the best time i could get was 1'08.590. Then i went two laps with nitrous and the best time i could get was 1'06.680!

Okay now the next subaru wrx i am going to test is the Subaru IMPREZA Sedan WRX STi (GC) '94 model that i bought used and it had 244 horsepower with 35,842.4 miles before the oil chnage. so after the oil change it made 270 horsepower na di took it for another 20 laps at midfield raceway and the best time i could get was, to be continued........:)

PLEASE GUYS IGNORE THIS THIS IS STUPID I WAS TRYING TO DO SOMTHING ELSE AND I CANT DO ANYTHING TO DELETE THIS SO PLEASE IGNORE THIS!

So i have started a little competion that i like to call the Subaru Shootout! This has originated from my post on another thread but now i have decided to put it on it's own thread!

a competition for everyone? lets have it :) (on midfield track, that's the only one i know:) )

Heck yea, anybody that's want to compete can compete. It should be fun waht do you think about it jamaican!👍 👍 👍

umm... well midfield would be the track, no nitros would be used, racing tires... just to pick a car, Spec C? :D

im lost......

What car and mods for a 1'04.xxx?

Subaru Spec C? on RSS with a wing? @ about 530hp? with no NOS?

If your reffering to the competition it's just to see who can get the fastest time around midfield in the forward direction wiht any subaru wrx and in what tuning form. i have a lot more subarus to add to the times list on this thread so i will post them now!

Basic requiremnets for competition:

any subaru wrx
any modifications
compete to beat the time of that car that i tested, just look back through the threads and get the times for each wrx, then try to beat the time with the same modidifcations that i did wich are listed.

GOOD LUCK!!!👍

Continuing from here the best time i could manage was 1'25.467. Then i fully tuned the cra and gave it another oil change and car wash and it produced 500 horsepower, then i slammed the car to the ground and the gear ratios i increased to 13! That all equated to a best lap time of 1'09.432. then i went two laps with nitros and the best time i could get was 1'07.437! That car was a monster and supriseingly it was the oldest subaru wrx i have tested so far!

The next car will be the Subaru IMPREZA Coup WRXtypeR STi Version VI (GC) '99 model, quite a lengthy name!!!:) I bought it used and the horsepower it made was 261 horsepower with 21,298.6 miles on the odometer. Then i gave it an oil change and the most horsepower it made was 1'23.520. that is a pretty fast time! Then i fully tuned the car and gave it another oil change and car wash and the maximum horsepower it made was 500 horsepower. then i lowered the ride height all the way down, and increased the gear ratios to 13! I went for 20 lpas around midfield and the best time i could get was..... you'll have to wait until tuesday or wednesday to find out, until then PEACE!!!:)

yea... someone said they got that time... and we were just seeing if it's possible or what... fully modded Spec C... but no nitros

Got it

Full tune Spec C at 526hp with wing and no NOS with RSS tires.

After about 15 laps and a bit of tunning i got a 1'04.5xx.

So it is indeed possible.

^^tell me your settings because i'm now getting low 5's... and desperately trying for 4's

Okay i think i can finally finnish those imprezas now so here goes. Leaving off my last thread the best time i could get was 1'07.915, then i went two laps with nitrous and the best time was 1'06.455!

The next car i will test i bought used and it had 38,759.8 miles and produced 245 horsepower. The car is the Suabru IMPREZA Sedan WRX STi Version II (GC) '95 model. I gave it an oil change and a car wash and it produced 271 horsepower! So i did the usal and took it for 20 laps around the midfield raceway and the best time i could manage was 1'24.920! So i then did my usal and fully tuned the car and gave it another oil change and car wash. Then i increased the gear ratio to 14 and lowerd the body all the way down! after all that i produced 490 horsepower. so i took it for 20 laps around midfield and the best time i could kick out was 1'09.310! So i then did my other usal and went another 2 laps with nitrous and the best time was 1'07.890! Okay well that's gonna do it for tonight i will continue tommarow after school. See you guys later!:) :) :)

👍
