12 Cars We Want to See Back in the Forza Series

Would be nice to see the IS300/Altezza again. Had no idea that the Toyota FJ Cruiser was in the Forza series. Then again, I only played Motorsport 1-4 and Horizon 3 is my first current gen Forza.

Also....wish the 2013 Audi RS6 Avant C7 was in Horizon 3.

Honestly, there were so many cars that nearly made it that we could've doubled the list size without trying. But at ~1500 words already, we had to cut it off at a dozen. The Pantera was one of those cars that were on the cusp.

We could always do another, with input from the whole GTP community... :D

Hehe no worries, I just wanted to express my devoted love to that piece of Italian V8 history. :D But seriously, it's my number 1 most wanted car ever, even if you include the 600+ cars already in Forza XBox One.
 
The only car on that list I disagree with is the Civic VTI, I honestly would rather see it replaced by the SiR-II.

I would like to see them end the policy of 'only the highest performance version' of cars being featured. it was nice being able to run lower versions of cars in lower classes rather than being stuck with one in higher class. that being said something they could do which would be awesome would be to use the bodykit presets to include all versions of the car. Say with something like the mustang you could have a GT, Shelby, GT4 preset. similarly you do this with the vette being GS, Z06, ZR1, GT3, GTE all as presets. that way you have one car and have it include all the special editions and race versions.

I'd bring these back for FM7. On top of almost every car featured in FM5, FM6 and FH3, of course.

Man...seeing all of these cars that people want brought back kinda brings a tear to my eyes. The memories of FM4 and the numerous events I ran on there...
With these recent Forzathons I'm hopeful that we'll see some more oldies return from the depths of past-gen hardware. ;)

Me too. I wouldn't have suggested the VTi if there was already a pre-existing EG in the game. It was more a point for more of these types of cars to return, instead of always focusing on the EK9, etc.
 
Some of those models are poor, if they came back they'd look out of place. Realistically, I'd want to see cars built for Forza 4 only make a return.

The Fiat Coupe, the Boss 302 with Laguna Seca kit, the city cars.

I doubt Turn 10 would now just include models from the earlier titles. If a car from the past games made a return, I'm fairly sure they would give it a new model.

I mean as you say that, T10 brought the Supra 92' back with the same rear tail light bug as it was in FM4 (though they have fixed it). There are numerous other examples of this, though I understand why it happens.

I'm not exactly sure that's the same model though as it seems to have more detail including the ability to see its engine bay when another model that actually was a Xbox 360 port such as a R32 Skyline didn't have that same feature available.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but the in-game model for the 92 Supra is still the same, the Forzavista model is the one that got the update (they're 2 seperate models, like all the cars in the game)

In the case of the Skyline R32, its a 360 asset that got ported and uprezzed to XB1 quality, tho no rescan done to get a new Forzavista LOD model (say like the Ferrari F40) much like many of the FM5 launch cars.

The only similar thing I see is the glitch, but the model itself looks more detailed to me than the one from the X360 era unlike any of the FM5 launch cars. Though, I think I remember someone from Turn 10 explaining the glitch on here, but I can't find the post.

No we didn't: The 2011 HSV GTS has showed up in the XB1 generation.

Oop's it has; but I fear it will be amongst the list as soon as forza Motorsport 7 is released as it didn't make it to forza horizon 3 there was a new model released with the same name but not the same series. Like the many superseded tesla model S

Actually, it's still quite possible it'll make it to FM7 due to past instances. It was in FM5 only to be gone in FH2, but then it was still in FM6.

The Beetle was likely due to Turn 10 not seeing a use for a rally car in a game that had only tarmac tracks.
For the Rufs, the absolute reason I can think of is simply Porsche. With Turn 10 being able to use the Porsche license again, they simply forgot about Ruf as they only used the Ruf license before to fill the gap Porsche left when EA decided not to let Turn 10 license Porsche anymore years prior.

However, I do think it was quite stupid for Turn 10 to stop paying to license Ruf just because they could get Porsche again.
 
The "Clownshoe" M Coupe, Montreal, FTO, Fiero and MGB GT are the five I'd most like to see return.
