The video just above was from the B-Main for Group 3, a practice round prior to their A-Main. The kart was a 125 shifter doing laps in the high 30's and low 40's. The winged karts were 250 singles - not really superkarts - but close. It was amazing how much oversteer he had to cope with! I think he spun off in the final.
The official lap record for a 250 twin is in the mid 20's, I think, although they have made sub 1:20 runs, I hear.
My kart is a 100% stock 80cc CR80 (6 speed) from your little brother's entry level dirt bike. In my race, I beat the 125 TaG's (clutch, no gearbox on these), and ran a 1:45.
