It's between two cars. And it's a very hard choice between the two of them...

Mazda MX-5...

...or Honda Civic.

MX5 with an ECU upgrade - it's a good starter car and you get your 'penniless' trophy, if you don't have it already.

I personally would get a Civic but if you get a MX-5, get your B Spec driver to do the MX-5 Cup Race and you get a Furai which you could use for some races

All good choices listed so far. Pretty much any of those will do fine. A lot of people have used the Civic Type R as their first. What did you use before?

look in the used first you might luck out on a 240sx s13-14, my first car was the 95 integra type r dc2, still have it 248,000 miles and still winning, if you're online check the online dealer its mostly classics now but give it a week and it will have a jem for you with 0 miles or start a new game and have a friend gift you a car or 2, i did that for a few friends to get them started, nothing like starting with a mclaren f1, of course now with the 1 mil cap on trading cars you cant get anything crazy like that, or send me a friend request i'll hook you up with a 91 nsx rm to start.

or an r33 gtr skyline by your gtp id, a fresh premium r33 sky with mods to tune to you sound good?

Civic Type R (EK) '97 This car will definitely get you started and get the job done.

i had some kind of hatchback mitsubishi, I LOVED it, sounded amaizng with a turbo, on the lookout for another one cuz it was that good.

A lot of you guys are recommending cheap cars, but you don't need a car for the NASCAR Seasonal and you win a lot of money from it, so I'd say do that and then buy a Skyline or Evo and there will be plenty of money left over for tuning

Oh yeah even though i mentioned about the MX-5, getting the Civic means you could do the Civic seasonal will get you some money and XP for a Ferrari so you can just do Sarthe all day long!
