Anyhow, here's my entry for the week...
Final Entry

Grrrrr... imageshack is not giving me the 'thumbnail for forums' options. I had to make my own. The preview links straight to the full size image. Hope thats ok with everybody.

EDIT (the quick edit is awesome!!!): Wow, franz, after blowing your pic up full size, I am amazed at the amount of effort that has gone into doing that blur!!! I can pick a radial blur on the ground, a motion blur on the background, a different motion blur on the little hill, to make it look like the camera is chasing the M5 around the corner! And, if I'm not mistaken, have you added noise to the road in the foreground before blurring to get extra texture? It looks brilliant, whatever you've done! 10/10 for effort!

This is the better one I think. It looks real and the wheels look very nice as well. I also like the greenish blue tint to the picture, and it just looks great. Just my opinion now, I am not making any suggestions!:)
 
While I too admit there's been a lot more use of motion blur recently, it seems hypocritical to complain about it if one uses it.

Franz' entry, for example, uses a bunch of different subtle blurs to imitate a "follow the cam" shot. It wasn't a mindless "hey cool, a blur filter!" moment.

I don't think anyone will care, and i agree with 440 Charger that the evo pic is the best. the dept hof the wheels looks great, haven't really seen much of that in GT4.

Gee guys, I was just joking! I am not complaining or anything. Franz's shot looks great and it probably took him like 10 hrs to perfect. I was just saying that it's going to come down to a competition of blured shots, that's all. A 'Blur Competition'.:)

Maybe we gotta make a 3.0 comp called the advanced-even-more-comp, or the blur-only-comp. Lol.m :lol:

Vonie, this is the blur comp!! No 'normal' pics allowed. :crazy: :lol:
 
I finally found the easiest way to produce chase-around-the-corner effect in photoshop
but it involves the use of twirl filter
so the technique won't be legal for this comp ;)
 
darn.....hopefully the winner this week will pick an open theme....lol. I finnally have a picture and my usb cord decided to run away from me.lol.
