2.0 patch caused my game to stop working!!

I just updated to 2.0 today, and I can't get past the Main Menu screen with the Avatar walking past all the suits and helmets. The 1st thing I noticed was how long it took the game to load now. Then when I clicked on "Home", it made the confirmation sound but nothing happened and I could no longer move my cursor. Now every time I restart the game I can't even get a cursor. Has anyone else had problems with the game loading time or having it freeze on the Main Menu?
 
Yes I'm wireless. How do you sign out of PSN? I've looked everywhere on the XMB and I can't find a sign out function.

Edit: I remembered how to sign out, and YES the game is working now. But of course I can't do anything online with it.

Go to Account Management section under the PSN logo on the XMB and press the triangle button and then sign out will appear. Glad your game is working now and you were able to sign out.👍
 
I would recommend reinstalling de update and try again.
My check if it does work when using a cable
 
I think its due to the servers being overloaded. The game is constantly trying to connent, sometimes i get server connection error, and the game start running smooth again.
 
I've been crashing before the main menu on the GT logo loading screen. It happened a few times before I reset and then I had no problem.
 
It's now happening for over a week and the only thing against it is singing out. No online, no 200% bonus.
 
The first time I started GT5 after the update, it took a very long time for me, too, until the cursor appeared, but then it was fine.
 
Wasnt this a previous problem with people on slower connections as the game is partially online. it affected load times.
