It is not possible to select pp and power/weight at the same time in online lobbies. There is actually no difference from 2.00

It is if you choose a type of car from the drop down list. Choose say Modern Touring cars and it will let you restrict pp and power. At least it does on mine.

It does not work on mine. If I choose pp than weight/power will be greyed out. I tried every class from the list.

What the update allowed was for us to restrict both the class and the PP or weight/power.

Having PP and weight/power restrictions at the same time would seriously hinder people without access to all the cars. People unlike me... :sly:

Ah I get it now. thanks

Does not work for me with open or a restricted garage? PD get your act to gether. Enough of this patch to fix a patch that fixes a patch that fixes another patch endlessly!!!

I was unaware you could not do it before....

Yes, indeed. 2.01 is not a fix to 2.0, but rather.. erm.... nevermind. Long live the exclamation mark.

Does not work for me with open or a restricted garage?

Is this an actual question?

Well, this would be a good comment, if it wasnt for the world of incompatibility. All it'd take would be some value to be wrong and glitches and bugs start appearing. Whats the best way to find glitches and bugs? Give it to the public. Wait for feedback and fix. If the fix causes another glitch, let the public work on the details of said glitch, then fix that as well. Its a never ending loop.

- Expanded the car restrictions in the Online Lounge
It is now possible to simultaneously set [Car Restrictions], [Performance Points], [Power], and [Models] in regulation settings. ( [Vehicle Tuning] must be set to [Unrestricted] and [Car Restrictions] must be set to something other than [Select from Garage].)

simultaneously to me means "at the same time" I clearly do not have a very good grasp of the Enlish language...

Expanded? I think they mean slightly ajusted with no real benifit...

When they first introduced this you could, for example, limit it to Ferrari Road Cars. But that was it, any Ferrari road car could get in so if you just wanted to have a battle between certain models of Ferrari's you couldn't because the Enzo would always be able to enter. Now, you can set either a PP or weight/power limit so only the desired Ferrari will be able to enter the track. You shouldn't need to be able to set PP and weight/power at the same time, just pick one of them that fits your desired cars specs.

but you can still get the enzo and detune it. by allowing PP/power/weight and no tunning you can be very spasific about your event regs. also an option to restrict the amount of enging restriction say 5% 10% 20% is much needed.

it just seems odd to make these settings avalible but then restrict how you use those option is just plain strange...

But at least it will be a bit more of an even playing field...
