GT Academy hasn't ended yet. A month to early.

I believe if your already in a lobby once the maintenance starts your ok. If you try to join during maintenance you must wait.

Is this assumption correct? Why should someone waste bandwidth if they don't purchase the DLC? Many ISP's are capping their bandwidth and overage costs are high.

The DLC you purchase is actually just a small file that activates the newly added content. Everyone downloads it so it allows them to, I guess, see the content online if someone else purchased the DLC. I guess that's how everyone is able to see the new DLC cars online, even if they don't have access to them.

I forgot about being able to see the dlc cars in the dealerships :ouch:. I also have no idea how big of a file the individual cars or tracks would be. I guess nobody knows.

I just hope the update fixes a few of the bugs and doesn't introduce new ones.
 
Maybe twin ring and academy cars.Hopefully DLC !
are the service still under maintnence?Anybody knows for how long if they are.
 
i was playing forza earning credits for the Porsche dlc when I saw in big letters 2.06 live got excited I do think it may be the academy cars as well as the ring track which we'll get in June!

I'm just excited for all the fallout that comes when people are dissapointed about the (non)changes made in the update. *fingers crossed*

Nothing new in the dealership. I played around for a while and found nothing new at all. My guess is a the academy cars just got added for later.
