from the dealership right, not the stealth version
Yes from the dealership fully tuned, I'm going to repair it's engine and body soon and setup the car for the track we are going to race on ;)

This race is definatly happening guys, just looking for 5 more people to make it a full grid. Shall we vote on using heavy damage? Its a long race so plenty of time to get back to the pits for repairs.

Gonna have to make that 6....turns out my old man wants to watch the race from start to finish too now so I wont be able to make this race, good luck guys!

I'm down for this, i'll use my Ford GT LM Race Car (Gulf Livery) if that's cool 👍

I'm up for for an endurance race . I may use a Ford GT of some sort or i may try the Saleen S7 (has this car been to Le Mans ?) But i'm in for sure.

Cheers

Ah crap...just realised that haha, can you change me to the McLaren F1 Stealth? Currently doing the offline 24 Hour with it....

The timing of this couldn't be more perfect for me. And what better way to kick off Le Mans weekend than doing a full real life driver four hour long race!

I'll add the the collection of inspirational videos by giving you guys this:

Amazing.

Anyway! One question; how are you going to handle course cutting since it's ill advised to rely on GT5's penalty system (ghost cars)?

So what has the consensus come to on the different cars? I ran 4 min laps in my up-tuned SLS, low 3:30s in my stock 787B. Haven't tried any other cars though. Would it be worth it to go ahead and get the 908, race a GT car, what do you guys suggest?

I would definatly run a race car and not a tuned up road car. ive done some testing and when you tune down a LMP1 and tune up an GT both to 670pp they are the same speeds. I wanted to have a mix of cars in this race to represent the real Le Mans race. Although in this event there is only 1 1st place and no other class rankings so with all the cars running the same PP anyone can win. Hope that makes sence

Great youtube link that, really enjoyed it!

Im not 100% sure how to handle the course cutting, im hoping as we are all GTP drivers that we will all be fair and play by the rules. Any ideas on the subject I would love to hear them

Ok there is ONE space left but im going to put a reserve list up as im sure people will pull out. To everyone that has signed up so far ill be sending a private message this weekend so please look out for it

hey Mikeem50,

can we please know the room quality and chat quality you'll be using for the on line room?

thanks a lot :)

I will use what ever connection you guys want.
I hosted a 4 hour race at the nurburgring a few months ago and i used low quailty and it was absolutley perfect no lag what so ever so thinking about it thats proberly best

👍 ok just asked you this to try some laps with the same conditions :)

I've changed my mind, I can't control the 787B so the car I'm going to use is the 908

Good idea, hopefully PSN doesn't disconnect me during the race.

i am interested in this race, but it seems like i have to use the power limiter on my 787b at like 70% if i want to make the 670pp limit. is that what everyone else is doing?

car: 787b
