cool find bro, im still living off my VGT glitch money... shh dont tell anyone.

haha :P

I know a ton of people that own GT6 and refused to do the glitch, I may or may have not done it though.

Hope many people see this thread as I've made a ton of money from this.

Still not quite as much as the Nascar on Motegi but more fun and less getting spun out

Nascar race on Motegi with the 200% bonus is paying a bit over 160k and takes about 3:05 -3:15 depending on setup and driver. I usually do it under 3:10 so long as I don't get smashed while working my way to the front

Just do the new seasonal events with 200% login bonus and you'll earn that in 20mins and some

Yeah but once the Seasonal's are done, you can't repeat them and gain the same money though right?

EDIT: Also the fact that this race is easy to come 1st in as opposed to getting gold in the seasonals.

I tried that but hated the spinning out, I prefer the downforce nut job X2014 junior :P

Also you make $177k and it takes 3:38~ so not that much more but I suppose each to their own if they want nascar or this. Also the reason I chose this over the Nascar again though was the fact that the player doesn't need IA license to do the Red Bull challenge.

Should I post the Nascar one as well?

Nah I was just pointing out that the Nascar race pays well, if you can do it without getting spun you can make more there in a shorter time than anywhere that is repeatable at the moment. It is aggravating and gets boring quick. I've actually been doing some of the longer and lesser paying races which allow me to use a larger variety of cars and a few different tracks. The 20 mile Willow, 15 lap Brand Hatch and the 550 and 600 PP touring cars on Bathhurst. takes longer than the X2014JR or the Nascar but I can drive a bunch of different cars, do some tuning and earn quite a bit of credits int he process

I agree, I just finished the Willow and 2 10 lap ones they are fun to do especially bringing in tyre wear and fuel. But this guide is just a fast way to earn money without being too boring.

Have you compared running the full championship vs running the same race as far as credits per hour? I think that championship awarded like 250k for gold on top of the race prizes doesn't it?

I have not tested this, I'm not sure you are still award championship money. I will test it now and report back with an update 👍

Thanks for taking the time to share, good info to know. 👍

Well hopefully with time we will get some good paying seasonal races like GT5 has.
Some GT5 seasonals can pay out more than 1M within 15-20 min, with lower PP, log-in bonus.
Paid for my stable of GT5 20M cars with multiple repeats on tracks that need seat time to really master.

Grinding is a great way to generate quick cash, but if you can do rinse & repeat...
...on a complicated track like the "Ring" you gain more than just credits.
Sure, beating the AI is easy, so for me the fun is improving the time into the race I can cleanly pass them.

Hope we get some seasonal races with Ascari, Bathurst, Streets of Willow.

Yes, run the Championship and win 500,000 bonus credits each time, 200% bonus applied. It takes about half an hour to run the Championship.

So, 88,900 per race x 5 races @ 200% bonus = 889,000. Plus the 500,000 Championship bonus gives 1,389,000 per half hour, or 2,778,000 per hour.

Consider it training, not grinding, if you do it once a day, as you'll learn these 5 tracks really well.

EDIT: Yep just did it and I can comfirm it does indeed give you $500k for winning.

Well guys just finished in half an hour you make $1,389,000 by coming first. Thanks.

So..how does the log-in bonus work?
If I log 5 days in a row..and keep logging in every day I keep my 200% bonus?
yes you keep your bonus if you loged every day... of course the bonus is working only when loged to the psn

Another stupid bug: the game doesn't count as wins the Red Bull X Challenge races.

Today I checked my stats: 175 Races, 150 Wins, I lost a few races, but not 25.
I did a Red Bull X2014 Junior race and I won it: 176 Races, 150 Wins.

Does this only happen to me?

For quicker money you can actually skip the motegi race (by entering the race then quitting) as it's the longest race in the series and the real money is made with the championship bonus, and your still guaranteed to come at least 1St equal in which case you still get max bonus. This way the championship only takes 22min for a payout of 1211200 per champ or 3303272 per hour.

Also you can't use your own tune as the car is given to you for the race. So remember to turn traction to your preference each time you start a new championship as it will be at the default 5 ( it does remember between races so it only needs to be changed once per championship)

I was going to post this as well. If you want the most money in the shortest time skip Motegi. I just did the full series including loading times in under 25 minutes and the Motegi race took a little over 5 minutes. So skipping the motgei race means that should be able to do the series 3 times in 1 hour. so over 3.6 mil per hour and that is assuming it pays nothing for exiting the Motegi race.

Even if you can't do them in under 20 minutes the payout is very good and you will get faster with practice so payout per hour will increase

I've been top speed tuning all my 700+bhp cars and running Like The Wind's Route X race. Nets 140,000+ cr in around 4 minutes, which is roughly 2 million per hour and is super-easy. Let's put it this way, even with a Veyron, FXX and Huayra in the pack I've managed to get a strategic win using the Focus RS and many other "less capable" cars.
Draft all the way to the 9000m marker on the back straight before passing the lead car at the 10km marker, then use the nitrous to lower the speed loss through the final corner. Managed to win using this method in a Honda CRX!!

Don't forget that this grinding is maintenance free! You're using a lend car, and unlike others such as Nascar, you won't have to worry about rigidity, oil, or such!

I think it was awesome that PD put the RedBull in career rather than Special Events, enabling us to repeat them. Thank you PD!

My favorite cash cow seasonal race in GT5 was a 710pp race on the Eifel track using the Nissan R92CP Race Car '92, detuned at 636pp. I could win that in about 6 minutes and get with the log in bonus and the lower pp bonus a whooping 2.7mil credits. That was just crazy easy money.

I'm waiting to see if we ever get something close to that in GT6.

FYI, races in the Red Bull challenges don't count toward your wins. My stats say I've finished about 190 races with 160 wins, and most of the gap is from uncounted X2014 Jr races. Luckily, I don't care.

I have mixed feelings on this. I wonder if a hex editor could help us fix the win ratio by adding the 9 wins from the X-Challenge, plus any wins we got from repeating them. But so far I haven't found anything on my own.

Maybe people could leave the game be. At the very least until it seems as though PD has pushed it aside. Time they spend rendering hacks and glitches obsolete is time that can be spent increasing and improving the content that's available to everyone.
