Maybe people could leave the game be. At the very least until it seems as though PD has pushed it aside. Time they spend rendering hacks and glitches obsolete is time that can be spent increasing and improving the content that's available to everyone.

I don't care about hacking, nor have I ever hacked. I don't even tune my cars, I like them stock, and if I have to tune one for career mode or a lobby, I buy a second of the same car.

All I care about is fixing the adding to "wins", so the win ratio on the profile holds the right numbers. I should have five defeats instead of fourteen, right now. These numbers are short right now, but will become astronomical on everyone's profiles if we grind the X-Challenge events for credits.

The "win ratio" glitch is very much PD's fault, and since they are too slow, I wish I could fix it myself, that's all.

It may very well get fixed. How many days has the game been out now?

Maybe, but PD won't add to our "wins" as they can't tell if we did the nine X-Challenge races just once, or more times. So what has been done already has to be fixed manually. What good will the "community features: public profiles" system be, if we have an astronomical glitch on everyone's "win ratio" from grinding the X-Challenge events ?

I can't find a solution anywhere, the hex editors that I've tried can't find the "wins" section. Hopefully some other member that cares, fix this for us and posts a solution/personal hex editor, or something that can fix it.

Until then, I'm not grinding these events. Nine is an easy number to remember, and that's what I need to add to my profile, if it ever becomes possible. The next two X-Challenge events coming January 1st also won't add to "wins", most likely.

Think of it this way: If this is the worst thing that happens to you this month, you're doing just fine. Yeah it's an inconvenience. I too had an equal number of races and wins until the challenge came along, I think I can live with not. I know in my heart that I've yet to have a lost race recorded to scar an otherwise pristine record.

LOL. No, I don't care about that (pristine record), because if we take the best three drivers in the history of the sport, they haven't won every race. But the tracking of the numbers was fair, so... the fairness in the tracking of the records, yes, I wish the game was working properly at that. GT5 didn't have such a tracker, wish GT6 was the same. But since it's there, and the public profiles will be up soon, it should be working properly.

Hopefully someone will fix that for us, and post it here. PD won't fix the on-going saves, and if they fix the glitch, that will probably mean restarting the whole game just to re-do the X-Challenge events that would then be properly tracked.

Yeah, it should. Do me a favor and look at that flag under my username to the left of this post. Surely the rest of the world hears about what happens here and how unfair they can seem and, frankly, be. Unfairness is rife throughout the rest of the world too. While this may be just a game (I'm not brushing this conversation or complaint off due to that fact either), it has meant the progression to real-life racing careers. So it follows that it reflects other aspects of life as a sort of 'prepper.' It's supposed to be a driving simulator, but you don't need pretty clouds to simulate driving, they just make it seem more realistic...and so does unfairness.

I could care less about the wins/losses number. It really is meaningless anyway. Show me someone who has a 100% win percentage and I'll show you someone who either uses overpowered cars and/or restarts when they spin out or fall far behind.

They need a stat for restarts. Since yea I do sometimes use a slightly overpowered car, and sometimes I spin out but I don't always restart. (only if I spin when Im like 500ft away)
