2 Last Hairpins Driftable?

Are the two last hairpins going forward or 2 last going backwards on Amalfi tarmac rally driftable with a stock s14-s15 with a 1.5 way lsd and n2 tires?

Exactly...I've been pushing this technique for a while now, I'm not saying I'm the originater, but this style of drift entry is definatly something I don't see too often on those low speed corners. It's something I'd like to see amist the near-stop-downshift-punch throttle-oversteer drifts.

of course you can drift it. Try powersliding early and feather the throttle to swing around the turn. Or you could feint. A feint into a power slide into a sweeper should work.

can someone show me a video as proof? maybe i'm not turning enough, but its unrealistic to have to max lock drift that last turn. I am really good at drifting, but i cant drift those last two turns turns. Its the physics, not me.

I can drift them in an Evo IV, can't make a vid because I can't get my TV card working Linux yet...

But I start drifting early and try to be facing the inside (left) barrier for the first, and outside (right) for the second, then brake a miniscule amount to bring the tail out at the entry, works fine with a decent brake bias.

Yes its easy with 4wd cars and weirdly fwd. but can you do it with a S15 like i asked originally?

Just tried, and yup - Exactly the same method as before works just fine, just need to keep it on edge a bit more... I've noticed that RWD's seem to look for grip more in GT4 more than they should

Everything is driftable.

Those corners just aren't very pleasurable.

I've done it in an N1 R34, but I had to feint and pull the e-brake to actually do it. Road is damn narrow.

ahh... were you using a vcd controller on that r34 or not :S? if so wat setting was it.. coz a 4wd r34 around those tight turns...hmmm

I can do it almost 100% with any of the lancias BUT the way the physics handle the car in first gear are kinda weird.. the car looses speed and revs faster than it does in real life so unless you are "gdp"ing you have to charge into the corner with more speed than you would irl (and that for some of us is kinda confusing)
