Kinda relevant i think. Me and some buddies used to lan party with forza and race the lotus cortinas in the wet as standard... soooo much fun makes for really close racing.... touching without bashing is what its all about... remember BTCC anyone!??
Well I'm almost done with online racing expecting anything mature.
I can't tell you how often some kids asked me to allow more hp or/and race tires. As far as I remember just rossellini and me have been with a 70' car.
I think the car choices in the 70s are a little goofy and slow (IMHO)... but if you switched to the Japanese 80s I think you'd have the makings of a great series especially with a 250HP power limit. The cars are more driveable as you'll have less crashes with people sliding all over the place. Cornering skill and drafting would make the racing close. In fact dropping down to 200HP you can still find some quick (but not really "fast") cars to race online since they are pretty light. All these high HP races are overkill, I'd rather run some more realistically powered cars, like a stock Celica for example.
Tighten up the rules and organize it a bit more and I might be able to make it. I can drive most week nights between say 9-11PM EST.
