Schummi obviously couldn't find anywhere suitable to crash....

Definitely looking forward to the race! 👍 Should be interesting with Alonso, Kimi, and Schumi qualifying 1-2-3. 👍

That was a good qualifying session. It was a suprise to see Webber, Jenson, and Trulli out after the first segment of qualifying.

In the end, though, it was very close and leaves us with a promising grid for tomorrow. :D

Provided Kimi wont blow his engine, again.
Kimi hasn’t had an engine failure this season. :dunce:

Alonso and Kimi did a great job at the end.

The commentators said it was kind of creepy that JV married someone with the same first name as his mother. :dunce:

I've not followed this closely in sometime. I'm just happy Scott "Super Marketable Name" Speed isn't in the bottom 6 for once.

Carl.
MS looks in great shape:

Ok, I'm going to be honest. The instant I saw this picture, I thought, "Oh god, Micheal must have had an encounter with Queer Eye for the Straight Guy."

No offence though. I really am looking forward to this, but, yes, I am sad CBS won't be covering anymore races. It's my only way without going through other "ways." I did just watch the 2006 FIA GT round a couple of hours ago tonight, and now I can't wait to see it with these babys.:trouble:

oh, my god! i live bout 14 miles from silverstone- air traffic's gonna be unbeliveable around my area- as it is every year!

Boring race; no passes: I'm a Kimi fan, but I was rooting for Fisichella to nick Raikkonen for 3rd, just justify watching the race.

Can't wait for SpeedChannel to get the remaining races.

I can believe it. This race was so horrible. The announcers never sounded so bad. If this crap keeps up, I'm not going to watch F1 anymore.

I was put to sleep after the first ten minutes of the these two idiot announcers, who I've been stuck with for the past five or six races now, and I'm done with these idiots. From now on, if I'm awake, I'll watch the live timing, then watch the race when it airs on Speed Channel the following week.

Next stop, with the track I hate the most. The Canadian GP. Blah.

BMW did well for thier first season as team owners much better than Toyota and RBR ...I hope they do well in the next race too and get in the points..... Nick could of got 7th if it wasn't for that first gear problem in the first stop ....

Horrible race for the supporters that went to it. GP2 was amazing, much, much more overtaking.

Congrats to Alonso for winning the title with so many races in hand.
👍:indiff:

I all but stopped watching for the most part after the first round of pit stops. Once both Kimi and Schumi came in for fuel and tires before Alonso, I all but knew the race was going to go to Alonso.

Pretty boring race. We didn’t have the ITV commentators, so that was pretty lame, too.

Renault just have all the answers at the moment…

I fell asleep around the 1st pitstops, then woke up today and couldnt be bothered to watch the rest of the race (taped it), instead I hoped on the net and found out the results.

Well you did not miss anything after the first round of pit stops. The rest of the race was a parade with Alonso leading the thing.

Is it just me, or is F1 heading for a repeat of '04, with MS (semingly) winning everything, only with Fernando instead?

I think CBS pulled off the worst commentary yet.

I thought about counting how many times they said "Reigning world champion Fernando Alonso, Youngest World Champion Fernando Alonso" or "Seven time World Champion Michael Schumacher."

But then I realized that if I actually try to listen to the commentators I'd just get angry and turn the race off. So I could at least try to block out most of the talking, except when Daly goes "Schumacheuuurrrrrr"

It is kinda looking that way. Renault has their entire package on the car working very well together and having Alonso added to that just makes the car that much better. It is an extremely good package. The only thing that is going to slow it down is retirements and those have been few and far between with the Renault, especially with Alonso having not retired once this year.

Nor has he had a race where he wasn’t on the podium. That is how you put a championship together.

Yeah, I should have mentioned that Alonso has not finished lowered than 2nd all season, along with five wins. He is doing a spectacular job of showing why he won last years Driver's Championship and has put himself in a very, very good position to repeat.
