2006 Rx-7?

Cosmic
Hell no! Why make a new rx-7 when there already is the rx-8.

Read the damn thread, we've already discussed how the RX-8 is in no way a continuation of the RX-7, and thus, a new RX-7 would not be a step in the past.
That's like saying "Why make a JC Cosmo when there was the RX-5 Cosmo(or the Cosmo Sport, even)!". Common sense should be commonly sensed!

Hey i heard around somewhere, that a new RX-7 would depend on the sales of the rx-8?

Clearly that's wrong. They obviously didn't base whether to start the RX-8 on the RX-7.
I believe(using logic) that whether to make a new RX-7 would be based on the market place. Lets say that the Z/G35 and that class of cars just went away, Mazda would know that if they released a RX-7 that it wouldn't do so hot because if the competitors give up, the market doesn't really exist.
