Is it bigger or smaller inside than a Focus? I can't fit very well inside the backseat of a Focus with someone other than a midget in the front. My head hits the roof when driving a Hyundai Excel, Astra Coupé. How do they compare?

Though, the 500 is taller than most cars in its class, so I'm guessing head room won't really be an issue except for maybe very tall people.
 
Maybe Moglet can answer this, but can the front seats in a 500 be raised and lowered? In the MINI there is a lever that allows me to move the seat so it's higher or lower. This is good for me because coming from the Blazer I was used to "command" seating so I was able to replicate it in a tiny car. My dad, who's quite tall has no problem driving or being in my car and since the 500 has the same interior room (I think) it shouldn't be a problem.

Looks like Massa could almost stand up inside the 500!
 
I noticed myself that when a Mini stood side by side with a BF Falcon ('05-'07), the Mini was actually taller despite being half the length LOL. The main issue to look at is the roof slope, a car with a slopey coupe like profile can mean headroom issues in the front seat. Where is Moglet?
