Thank you Omnis!! I'm glad someone agrees with me!What are you talking about? Of course the car is real; it has a full leather interior and everything.

Just a wild stab in the dark, but he may have been being sarcastic.
Touché.
Sorry Scaff. I guess I didn't know you at the time.No way on earth did that first picture you posted come from an official BMW site, I've worked closely with BMW both in the UK and Germany and something of that low quality would ever come from any manufacturer and certainly not BMW. I'd love to have the exact link of the location on this BMW website.
And if we follow the link to the site that picture comes from we get this...
http://www.hpiracing.com/
...a website for R/C cars, in fact here's a direct link to the very bodyshell shown in that tiny picture.
http://www.hpi-europe.com/piw.php?lang=en&partNo=7450
For a 1/10 scale R/C car.
So now its a race car that doesn't race in a series (so how exactly is it a race car), you have yet to actually prove its existence. For example, would you care to share the links to the pictures on Motor Trend, because a quick search of the site using "BMW M5 Race" provides only links to the road car.
As for "learn the real cars out there?", you may want to get to know a few of us before questioning our knowledge of all things automotive.

I'm going to stop the fighting. What are you on about now?
Thank you.I'm going to stop the fighting.
I've merged the two posts together, but in future please just use the edit button.(Sorry for dubble podting!)
That's what the 1-series coupe is for. If they don't screw it up, of course.Well, I've given up hope for a svelte, lithe little car like the E30, or even back to what the E36 was...
That's right. They didn't like that one bit. It was total rubbish!C&D complained about the handling of the US only M5 6-speed manual. You cannot turn stability control and traction control OFF on that car (the first and only BMW where this is the case).

Um, look at the pic. It seems to have a full on road interior. Those are street headrests.
I think it would be great for BMW to make a smaller M car. M1, maybe. Something small, maybe like an S2000, or possibly something to run with the Elise.
Woops! Are you sure you didn't read another artical? If not, you are probably right. I read the artical in a store. It was a long time ago.Sorry but I've read that article and to say that the didn't like it one little bit or that it was total rubbish, is pushing things more than a little too far. As M-Spec said the principal issue that had with this particular M5 was that the stability and traction control were over intrusive and could not be fully switched off; something that only applies to that particular version of the M5.
Here in Europe every M5 has traction and stability control that can be switched off fully and as M-Spec also said the US SMG model of the M5 is the same (in that it can be switched off fully). These models of the M5 have been roundly praised for there handling ability, given the weight and size of the car.

They've already been through the M1. It was gorgeous, but they certainly don't need to ressurrect it.
I think he ment an M1 of teh 1 series , but BMW respescts that name and I think it will only come back in super M form some thing that would be very light , very powerful , and very hardcore .

LLN.comSpy photographers have snapped a new round of photos showing the 2009 BMW M3 Sedan in testing. As previously reported, the new sedan the first four-door M3 since the E36 won't look like a regular 3-Series sedan. Instead, it have the same headlights, grille, and front fascia as the two-door 3-series and M3 coupe.
So far, BMW has only revealed a concept version of its 2008 M3 Coupe. BMW has not disclosed the final horsepower rating, but the M3 range is expected to have between 425 and 450 horsepower. Its engine is derived directly from the V10 used in the M5 and M6
It could be. But the quad-pipes, M3 air-intake and fender flares make me think otherwise...
It doesn't have the trademark vents on the sides that all M cars have. It could be an M3 sedan, but it could simply be a facelifted 3 series with an M spec kit. Theres a lot of possilities, but if that is the M3 sedan, the production car will probably have the vents. It could be. But the quad-pipes, M3 air-intake and fender flares make me think otherwise...
