All the cars that qualified in the top 20 have them.

They're, get out my way lights.

Those were given to the top 20 fastest cars in Qualifying, it helps identify them for other racers so they can get out the way. It's basically a blue flag permanently on the car.

I can't wait for the helicopter dusk shots when you can see all the sparks flying when the cars bottom out as they blast down the straights.

I think it's the top 20 or top 25 that run those blue lights so that traffic can see it's a faster car sooner in the rearview mirrors. I could be wrong though, it got mentioned on RLM.

Also, I want the hybrid Porsche to win. I don't care if it's impossible, I just want it to win. It looks and sounds so fantastic :drool:

Yep, the top 20 qualified cars have that light to warn the traffic, last year I heard some comments from several drivers that it's kinda useless though.

I heard that too, they're not very bright and during the night they get obscured by the bright headlights.

Can't beat the good ol' headlight flashers.;)

No Panic! @ 19:15 (German Time)the TV is back on. And then it will be back to normal... ;)

The TV Broadcaster is called "Sport1". Just if someone can watch it over Satellite or so...

They could use the normal cams in the 1 1/2 though. ;)

It's my first time I follow it. Normally I never follow it because it's an F1 weekend or I just don't bother to watch it, but I'm surprised how awesome it really is. 👍

Bit early for that isn't it?.:) If there wasn't so much time left i'd say Manthey too. But anything can happen in the next 21 hours, especially during the night. So i'm going to give it a while yet:tup:

Probably Manthey Porsche Hybrid, since it gets better gas mileage.

According to the live ranking, it also has the 4th fastest lap.

First time for me too. I was never able to in previous years as it would've killed my bandwidth, but luckily this year I've got much more. :D
 
Currently keeping up myself. Trying to keep up with the Audis, the Gazoo racing LF-As and the IS-F Kaz is driving. I'm hoping this isn't another Manthey show as its been the last few years.
 
But I think the Hybrid has a higher chance to have trouble with reliability...
 
I hope someone finds the extra "Über" Button in one of the LF-As and it wins. :lol:

I don´t like Manthey and his team but I have to say that they did the best job the last years...

BUT at the Time the Viper was dominant, they were pretty fast in changing the rules, so the Viper couldn´t win any more... Well with Porsche backing them up it won´t happen...

Yeah it is. I believe that is one of the main reasons they didn't bother entering last year.

Guess the Old Enzo Ferrari-esque favoritism isn't quite as dead as I thought. Sad that even in Motorsports even now, we still can't elude politics.

It is more politics then ever ;)
And because of the Balance of Power, the Teams play Poker and don´t show their real performance. (See Manthey in Qualification this time for example)
