Those swirl camo packages work a lot better than the checkerboards. I sincerely hope they don't wreck this new one considering how good the current 3 series looks.

Agreed on both counts. From the basic shape of this one it looks a little like a scaled-down current 7-Series - big grille, agressive lights, larger glass area than the current 3. From the other photos on that site it looks like quite a clean shape though. As far as I'm aware, this is the shape of 3-Series that'll use "virtual" wheel covers to improve economy, by feeding air at high pressure over the surface of the wheels. I think this is also the 3 that'll use 3-cylinder turbodiesels for the lower models.

Probably a nice evolution...
... no revolution here... (in terms of design)

E30 and now F30 !!
It better be setting the standard once again for every other sport sedan to pursuit.

I cant wait to see its face!

So will this be as big as the E39 or the E60 or somewhere in the middle?

I sincerely hope it will not grow be blown up in size again... :scared:

keep it light and small like the e46 at most!

The rear is a bit spacious, but I can't really say anything since the car is heavily camoflagued and full of plastic body.

Looks like we have to wait for months until they reveal the real body with only camo. They still retain the ''Hoffmeister Kink'' and the ''L-Shape'' tail lights and the front is predicted to be just like the Z4.

I got the renderings of the new 3er. Actually, the sedan looks great. What's funny is that they made a 5door version.

I've already seen that car four or five times. BMW needs to differentiate a little bit more between their cars.

That said, by the Aston Martin logic, I like the other cars so I like this one.

They turned it into the same damn shape as the 5 & 7, so the only difference now is the size. 👎

At least the 6 should look somewhat decent....

The tails on that rendering are an improvement on the current sedan. The rest of the car is not.

If that's what it looks like, I'm staying in Benz camp as far as looks go.

This must be the worst design in the history of BMW.
I'd have to agree. I'm usually not in the camp that hates each new BMW design and then grows to like it. I'm more of a "well I think the current one looks a little better but maybe once I see a few on the street..." type. But this...

I liek it, that may have to do with the fact I thought this tread was about the 2011 Ford F350. A pleasant surprise when I got in here though. (Its only 3 am)

I think this one looks owkey. The back is beautiful but the front needs a little bit more work. I also believe that's not the real side-mirror as the new one might have a signal light on it.

Anyways, I have to see it in a different angel to see how sharp the front kidney-grille is. Somehow in BMWBLOG.com, they said that the front might be something like the new Z4 which is... Hmmmmmm.......

EDIT :

I hope that they don't make the GT version like the 5GT. That's not really a problem though if they make the 5-door or the Touring version.

I like that new design :dopey:. Looks bigger and more aggresive. It's better than the new 5-and-7-Series.

And to Frizbe, your signature is interesting. I agree with Famine ;).

Maybe they won't. For me, the sedan looks better than the five door from the renderings. If the sedan version looks likes that at the dealers, I'll let you know what I think.

Quite a silent thread... I just stumble upon a small rendering of the F30 showing its front fascia.
