The first race has just been finished and I think it's safe to say it was not what most people expected from Stewart. Villopoto did as I expected and I thought there was great racing.

What do you think?

Never thought I would find an Mx thread here!
It's shown on a one week delay here in australia, so I'm watching Phoenix as we speak.
I'm gonna go out on a limb and say Stewart won't win another title. The only thing that got him wins was his outright ridiculous speed, which just isn't as good as it used to be. He just won't be able to hold down a whole season with the consistency of Villopoto and Dungey.
Good to see Seely up there too :)

I think it will be between Dungey and Villopoto. The battle of the Ryan's. Stewart is just nowhere as good now. Kind of disappointing because he could have really had some good battles with RV.

Definitely Villopotos title to lose. Dunge 2nd and Reed 3rd, just because he's always lingering on the podium. Hopefully Wilson will win the 250s

I wouldn't doubt Stewart going undefeated the rest of the year.:D
But it is great having so many guys that could win.

That makes 2 of us, I just found out about this tread. I haven't been watching this supercross season live this year, but I have been keeping up with the lastest news from my speed.com mobile app Im look forward too chatting with you guys in the future.

I'm also glad bubba finally staying on this bike, its about time to get pass the 1st or last mentality, lol!

*spoiler if you haven't watched the latest race (Anaheim 2) by now, turn back...

But Stewart doesn't go undefeated.

Ryan Villopoto won the AMA Supercross championship long ago. Eli Tomac won the AMA Supercross West championship, and Justin Barcia (Bam Bam) won the AMA Supercross East championship.

And as I read from a Speed Channel newsletter, James "Bubba" Stewart was let go from Joe Gibbs Racing Motocross. I wonder who'll pick him up for next season.

Stewart has signed with Yoshimura Factory Suzuki for the outdoors, should be interesting

I'm so happy! Suzuki is my favorite bike and Stewart is the best, as long as he doesn't fall. Though, since he's been gift so much maybe he's not going to be so fast.
