I don't have college until 1:40PM, so nope. :D

I have to be up at 8.. :scared:

Just a heads up for people waiting around for the F1 to start there's an Aussie V8 race at 12 midnight (British time) which is on in about 40 minutes.

What track? Would be epic if it was at Albert Park.. :dopey:

Should fill the gap nicely for me.. :)

It is indeed the F1 support race. 👍 Good luck finding a stream if you're not in Australia though!

So excited! Hope McLaren have jumped Red Bull or neck and neck with them still and not fallen behind any other team.

Going to watch practice 1 on my iPod Touch and if I'm awake when practice 2 starts, I will watch that also. McLaren have yet to run on low fuel so it will be interesting to see if they do a qualifying type run in the practice sessions today. Hopefully Red Bull do too to make the practice sessions more interesting. We will finally get to see onboards of the new 2012 cars, McLaren drivers and Marussia drivers will have the best view out the car I expect. Will be good to see how much of a handful the cars are, out the top teams Ferrari's car will most likely be the hardest to drive.

It's not being broadcast. The first actual race (today's is a qualifying event) will not be shown until tomorrow.

And there I thought whatever.com (fake website, don't try looking for it although there's probably one with that address) would be streaming it.. No luck yet..

Oh... I thought there was some sort of traditional qualifying yesterday that wasn't being broadcast and then all the racing would be. Clearly not the case.

Thanks for letting me know though.

No, Thursday is the "traditional" qualifying. Today's event is a "qualifying race" to decide the grid for the first actual race. From the third lap to the ninth lap, the last three cars on the track will be eliminated from the race, and the last four laps will be a sprint race between the remaining cars. Race control has also said they reserve the right to deploy the safety car at the end of lap nine to bunch the field back up and produce closer racing to the end.

Basically, it's a gimmick to please the crowd. They're only doing it because Albert Park is a non-championship event.

To all the people complaining about Sky, consider this: there’s ten minutes to go until first practice, and after a brief overview of testing, a twenty-second interview with Bruno Senna, the usual hyping up of Webber and Ricciardo, we’re now square in the middle of a segment dedicated to interviewing the fashion designer who designed the outfits for the waiters at the Paddock Club to wear this weekend.

I am making do with 5Live for now. :grumpy:

I am at my dads every weekend though and he got sky just for F1. :D

Are the waiters outfits nice? :D

Oh my God its started.
Im so excited!

Although there is no commentary...
Great start Sky :irked:

Track is damp, water and oil sitting on the track in some corners.
Just realised they've changed the colours of all the tyres again this year.

Dry tyres are the same I think.

Caterham have tweeted that they are out on full wets, is it really that bad?

I'm feeling like the following 'smilie' :grumpy:

I'm not able to stream from SPEED.com, it keeps timing out.
