Indeed. Apparently when you approach a car on your right and pass it, it vanishes.
That was a ludicrous start. It's just sad that we can see these things coming too - the "danger zone" tag, applied to the Hamilton, Grosjean, Maldonado bunch before the race. Badgift wasn't involved in this specific incident himself (due to a new bit of dumbness from him) and Hamilton is effectively hard to blame for a collision where a car overtaking him swiped him into the grass, but everyone saw something like this coming.

Yes why move to the inside when it looks like the cars in front are taking a wider line. It's not like he was setting himself up to try and overtake the cars infront or anything.
