Just bought GT5 this week after my wife offered me a PS3 for Xmas.

As a photograph amateur, I really enjoy the photomode, here some shots after my very short time in it: (feedback welcome!)

Good start to your gallery! 👍

With some experience I think you could do very well in short time!
Love the first one.

Do you edit your pictures?

A small tip: Never go below f4.0 ;)

Thank you... I edited them very slightly (for the reason that they look much darker on my PC desktop than on my HDTV): mostly contrast and exposure.

Hummm, strange, I love the >4 apertures, it gives very photogenic Depth of field... Depending the lens you use of course. I shot in GT5 like I shot in RL with my DSLR... GT5 just allows more perfect shot opportunities! ;-)

Yes.

But the problem is, that it creates almost the same effect as the miniature or time shift - filter and I (personally) think that it's kinda annoying actually.

I agree, like in my second shot for exemple, this was too much and it seems like tile-shift effect... at the end, it's your eye which tells you if the shot is good or not...

I really love the photomode, I just shaved the surface of what's to come! this tool have so much potential! My young GT career will suffer, I'm afraid... ;-)

Great start! Always is very good news when a new gallery comes up.

Lovely last shot.

Shot a lot of photos and every new session try new angles, zoom, stances and, of course, editing techniques. You will never get bored :)

Very nice start! :D I would just say, try playing with shutter speeds 👍

Some great shots, keep up the good work and keep practicing 👍
Protip though, Resize your pictures a bit and add clickable previews to fullsize.

You're improving soo quickly.

Great shots, keep it up mate!👍👍

Loving that roadster shot!
