Ted Kravitz reporting that Red Bull could change their floors in two minutes ... but they would have to start both drivers from pit lane.

Sergio Perez has a Mexican wrestler on his helmet.

And no, I'm not making this up:

I doubt it will be necessary. The car has been through scrutineering after qualifying.

It would appear not. Horner: "We will start from normal positions. You get those kind of discussions, when you have a fast car." (Quote 12:40)

Some things can go unnoticed. The illegal rear wing element on the Sauber cars from last years Australian Grand Prix for instance. Both cars were disqualified from the results post-race.

McLaren, Ferrari and/or Mercedes reportedly intend to protest the floor after the race. If they do, there is a chance Red Bull could be disqualified. So it's a question of whether Horner wants to guarantee a classified finish (assuming they do finish the race) by starting from the pit lane, or preseving Webber and Vettel's position but chancing a post-race protest that could see them stripped of any result they get.

I agree, I like Alonso a lot more these days compared to 05/06.

Top quality driver 👍

I agree, except for Hockenheim 2010 where he didn't even acknowledge Massa after he was forced to let him past. He took the victory like he did it on his own, which he didn't.

Apparently the Red Bull floor has been deemed legal by the FIA.
Previously deemed legal. It has passed scrutineering before, but the teams are currently unhappy with it.

The team will reportedly keep the parts in place, and begin the race in the positions they qualified in.

Ah, thanks. What I read wasn't exactly that clear so I just assumed.

That's good to hear.

Ted Kravitz reckons the FIA are siding "more with the other teams" than they are with Red Bull.

They'd better sort themselves out quick. There's only thirty-five minutes until the race starts. The last thing anyone wants is for the stewards to fail to come to a conclusion, then disqualify Red Bull after the fact. Red Bull would then have a case for appealing the disqualification on the grounds that if the FIA had let them know sooner, they could have changed the parts, run a compeltely legal car, and finish the race with whatever results they achieved still intact.

Haha spanish TV (antena 3) couldn't get Antonio Banderas, but Martin Brundle could snatch him in the background.

edit: they got him also just now

With the low track temperature. It's Mercedes race to gain.
I doubt Webber will get a good start but i hope he won't mess it up. :p:lol:
