Pretty heartbreaking to watch Hamilton wrestlong with a gearbox full of neutrals in that replay. Looked like he was going to break at paddle off.

Whether its pit stops, driver morale, driver contracts or unreliability, there's always something not right at McLaren.

Sixth is pretty optimistic with that car, and hardly makes him a championship contender, even given he finishes every race.
 
^ McLaren will win another constructors championship before Mercedes does even with McLarens current rate of failures.

Depends what happens. If Alonso manages to win that would push the lead to 62 with 6 races to go. means you'd need to gain an average of 10 points per race. That may be insurmountable.

You never know, Maldonado is still in the race which means there is still time for him to take Alonso or another championship contender out.

No, of course not impossible. But the odds right now with McLaren having reliability issues make it to be very hard.

Well Alonso is behind Grosjean AND Maldonado. Might be hard to pass them both without getting taken out :lol:.

I don't think Alonso will win, but third seems possible. That would make the lead 52 points.
