Why is Karthikeyan allowed in a Formula 1 car ?

He was doing a pretty good job until then, and he out qualified his teammate again this weekend. Why does everyone think he's the worst driver in the world.

Considering a lot of people have crashed there before I think thats a bit unfair.

Not watching the race but from what I can make out isn't it the same place that Kamui crashed in a session this weekend?

Safety Car! An HRT crashes in the tunnel.

"I hit the wall, something's broken." Obvious statement is obvious!

Race Control: car on track at turn 18... You don't say?

Narain is Alonso's Piquet 2012. Alonso now in third, on the same pit cycle as the others.

Because he consistently finishes last and crashes a lot ?

Disappointing to see Hamilton out. I was hoping yesterday he wouldn't do the 2nd Q3 run. I wonder if that was the lap that caused a problem with the gearbox, would certainly not helped the barrier contact as well. Maybe the five-place grid penalty would have been better to take if it was a risky situation after they knew the gearbox might be marginal regarding reliability.

Alonso looks to have benefited quite well from the safety car, not what I was hoping for :indiff:.

Never understood why hydraulics would be a problem (or even an F1 issue). Then again I am ridiculously naive about it so my guess is they need the car to hop up and down .

For a man who's out, Pastor is doing a pretty good job of continuing around the track.

Edit. now he's in.

I don't think Alonso will win, but third seems possible. That would make the lead 52 points.

No it wouldn't. If it finished as is(vettel, button and Alonso 1, 2, 3), his lead would be 29 points over Sebastian.

He has the need of screwing up someone else's race

Well, today it was only his race, unless he ruined his pit crew's race as well. In that case, he always ruins somebody's race .

Did i hear correctly, something about Hamilton making around 80 gear changes on his pole lap?, i know the rest of the field must be doing the same.. but that's still alot of gear changes.
