I seem to have an on-off season after the triple top 5's at Bristol and Martinsville. Every other week I'm closing in on the leader, only to suffer a setback the following week, typically losing ground in the process. :irked:

Standings:

Legend:
CP = Consecutive Pick used for selection
R = Driver failed to finish
PX = 10 point penalty for selection

Most Points: Adrenaline [119]
Fewest Points: adam46 [27]
Biggest Gain: Adrenaline [+5]
Biggest Loss: MustangRyan [-4]
New Entrants: MildAshers [28th]

Next Race: Toyota/Save Mart 350 @ Sonoma Raceway [June 23]

Notes:
  • Saturday is the next round of the Special Event Series at Road America.

Now it's back where it was around Week 3 or so, where the top 2 have a big lead over the rest.

6th, 35th, 38th. :grumpy:

That said, I really expected to lose more ground. But if you look, those of us 8th through 17th in the standings received roughly the same crummy scores. I didn't get to see the race yesterday. I know Kahne had a tire go down and hit the wall. What happened to Kurt?

I almost took 5/16/88 instead of 5/22/88. At least that would have netted a race win.

Well, I was considering both 16 and 29 before the race, but ended up with 5 and 20 for some reason.

#12 Sam Hornish Jr.
#30 Nelson Piquet Jr.
#54 Owen Kelly.

32 is blank on SC pick form, I read somewhere Boris Said was in it this week.

Yes Said drives the 32 at RCs

Judging by the others' picks so far, it doesn't look like I'll be gaining or losing much ground this week.

I'm gonna redo my picks after qualifying

Changed picks for SES.

Almost switched Piquet with 5, but decided against buying into the ESPN hype. Probably will screw me over though

Same here. What happened to Piquet? Did he have trouble early in the race or was he just not competitive? I only saw the last about 20 laps.

He was 33rd with like 10 laps left, I don't know how he fell so far.

I think I heard them mention he pitted on one of the late cautions. But he was already running in the 20's at the time anyway.

Here are my Sonoma picks:
#9 Marcos Ambrose
#15 Clint Bowyer
#42 Juan Pablo Montoya

(and was very tempted to pick Kurt yet again, but refrained )

can somebody post the pick forum? thanks

First time I've picked Kurt all season, and so far it's looking great.
