The side scoop has always been there. It's left over from the 1962 concept (which was mid engine) and always been fake. Maybe this year things have changed...

They're just making slight changes to make the GT look more like the GT500. Everything else will stay the same. I expect the GT500 to get some more power though to stay ahead of the ZL-1 Camaro.

If I'm correct (which I'm probably not), I think FoMoCo actually dropped the scoops in '66. What's telling me that is that the '65 GT350s had scoops but the '66s didn't.

Ford didn't have any scoops. The "scoops" were just a feature in the metalwork or a little chrome detail on the side, depending which year you got. Shelby added sidescoops on the 66' GT350 as brake cooling ducts. This continued until about halfway through the production cycle of the '67 GT350 when Ford stopped doing this to cut costs.

I don't think the new front bumper suits the GT (iffy) or the Boss (terrible). The weird foglights ports and vent below look like something Toyota would do.

the only deference is the boss got a lip in the front bumper the pictures doesn't show it in very well,the best picture shown it
