The Danica hype this week is pretty funny. She didn't even qualify on speed this week. She's using Tony's owner points.

Meanwhile, her bf Stenhouse Jr qualified 12th and nobody cares.

Dammit . . . nothing but Danica in this thread.

How about that Mark Martin, eh? Wonder if he'll be driving the #55 at 55. Years, I mean, not MPH.

Except she didn't. Her owners points comes from the 49's 42nd place finish last year- if the 98 and Woods had shown up this week she would of had a very possible chance of going home.

Not even going to mention her name this week. Instead, I'm going to have a little fun, and use another one. Ummm,...

Okay, Jimmy Spencer. :sly:

Real interesting to see who charges forward and who falls back as the race goes on. Probably will have a surprise name get a Top 10 or even better.

I always love the background that Phoenix provides, even it is just desert.

I really hope she doesn't miss any races and never DNF's, because you know if she's not in the car she will be doing commentary.:yuck:

Oh! C'mon, outlaw, nothing was as bad as Spencer entering a race. I would groan and leave the TV. (Only to return and groan again.)

Yes, it's going to be interesting to see the strategies being played out today - considering we're only just warming up to the season and the new car.

There are a lot of folks here that say this car is not as good as the COT.
?
I'm confused. I thought they took everything they learned from it and built it into this car? Hidden under those 'manufacturer' cosmetics?
I like the new car myself. Nothing to hate in it yet.

Can you remember cars that looked like 'stock' (right off the showroom look) cars that used to race in the days when roof-flaps were but imagination?

For the 2nd week in a row, A cloudy race for Cup. No visibility problems there.

Also, saw the Nationwide race and I wasn't surprised with who won. I am confused on one thing though:

Is the 54 still a KBM with JGR support or is it now a 4th JGR car?

Nobody wants to hear you, Jimmy Spencer.

Martin pulls away early, but Kahne's lurking less than a second back.

The phrase "Boogity Boogity Boogity" goes back to DW's driving days. He was tired of hearing his spotter yell "Green, green, green!" at the start, so his spotter started yelling a nonsense phrase, "Boogity boogity boogity".

These cars with that tall spoiler just look..right.

Also of all the Bass Pro Shops paint schemes I've seen on any car or Truck, the one on the 14 car looks the best to me. Nice mix of the classic Black and Orange along with the camo.

Hey Fox, thanks for showing commercials instead of the racing incident.
