Good battles all around, some exciting moments, new cars to gawk at, all in all a fairly enjoyable race. Not a winner to hate on either. It's been a couple of years since we saw that backflip.

Next race, please.. . .

And whats the first commercial they show after interviewing the winner? The Commercial with Glaser trying to backflip

Finally caught it. Epic fail.

If only the Vegas race wasn't sponsored by Kobalt. I have this fear that Jimmie will dominate. Otherwise, I would buy some tickets.

Can't wait to see those portrait mode videos on YouTube!!! Ugh

You don't have many drivers to like, do you?
Gordon
Montoya
Johnson
Keselowski
Ambrose
Smith
I guess Kahne

As opposed to:

Edwards
Biffle
Hamlin
Kurt Busch
Kyle, although he's been much less of a moron recently
Bowyer
Reutimann
Stewart (recent addition)

Exactly, what did Reutimann do to get on this list? We hardly hear anything about him (good or bad for that matter).

Be a general moron.

Also, be the guy who caused the caution at Martinsville that caused Bowyer to wreck Gordon.

Those Penske Racing fords started off the year better than I thought they would. However I still wanted Brad to get Ford it's first win in the GEN 6. Oh well!

Fixed that for you. 👍

You also have to give credit to Casey Mears for finishing 14th. 👍

Happy for Edwards. It naturally meant a lot to him clearly. Loved the back-flip btw! Thought that was brilliant!!👍 :)

About the Danica Patrick incident. Was that her or was that something with the car?

The right front blew out on her...the repercussions of having an ill-handling race car and fighting in traffic. You end up using up the front brakes more/heating up the rotor and calipers/melting the bead on the tire(where surface meets sidewall)/and it will fail. And like her and Newman both showed, there's always a hard hit when that hapens.

How big of an accomplishment was it for Danica to qualify and run well at Daytona? I think Denny Hamlin's comment about Carl Edwards winning yesterday contained a subtle hint about how he feels about the relative difficulty of plate racing.

"No team, with that much depth, will stay down long. When you have a year like they did last year, it's almost certain you will be better the next season because you work so much harder. To win at the first real race of the season is big for them."
