Or because it may not be possible to make a 1.5 mile track race exciting. NASCAR will change the car before the racing becomes at all interesting.

Travel back in time, that's the only thing I can think of.

The problem isn't the 1.5's even, it's the fact there are so many of them so all the teams are about as good as they are going to get at them. Which is why it's the same 5-6 drivers that win them all.

NASCAR logic: OVERREACT TO EVERYTHING.

You making a well informed statement on how to make the sport better? GET A STERN TALKING TO.

You giving a reasonable critique and feedback that isn't bashing about the current car? GET FINED.
 
Caution is out, of course we will never know why because we are watching the commercial 400.
 
This is why nobody takes NASCAR seriously, they are the only series to throw cautions for someone spinning while not even close to other cars.:yuck::grumpy:
 
Im not sure what type of racing you guys are expecting. Do you expect Talladega pack racing every week?

The worst part of this race is the 2 abusrd cautions which oddly enoughly some here wanted.

Labonte's caution I understand. If a car ever gets backwards on the track they should throw the yellow. Ambrose's should not have brought out the yellow.

I'm guessing there is going to be a "debris" sighting with 4 to go to guarantee a close finish.

Doesn't matter if it came out or not. He was under 2 seconds behind the leader and his car seems to get up to speed very quickly.

What was Hamlin doing on that restart?
