If anything, I can see both drivers getting the boot. Other than the apparently one fluke year in 2010, EGR as a whole has been irrelevant (and by extension, CGR hasn't been a serious championship contender since 2002). I have no idea how Chip can put up with that other than Jamie/JPM drawing sponsorship.

The fact that he decided to switch from RCR to Hendrick for engines and cars seems to tell me he thinks it was the equipment, which isn't too farfetched given that RCR's cars haven't been all that competitive themselves either save for those rare wins.

Montoya seems to be fair in Grand-Am, so I wouldn't be surprised if he stays with Chip, just for a different program. Jamie... yeeeaaah, sorry bud, but the magic is not there anymore.

Honestly though, I think we get something much more massive in the coming years. I think either Chip will leave if things don't improve, or at very least he'll drop to a car. I'm not sure how much say Ginn and Teresa have, though.

I don't think Bobby has had much of a say in quite some time, I could be wrong. As for Teresa, I'm honestly under the impression she could care less.

The funny thing about Joe's scheme is that the company website has not been updated since like mid 2012.
Also, Chip would never fire Montoya. Target will never leave either of the two.

A friend of mine works for them and is a jack of all trades from helping on the car to PR related things. It doesn't surprise me at all, twitter is best way to keep up with them.

Like someone said I see JPM being around for multiple roles with CGR in general. Jaime just hasn't ever been a huge threat for awhile other than 2010 but as long as a sponsor is happy then who cares.

I don't see too many huge changes to any teams in next couple years. The biggest deal will be 55 with Vickers and Harvick at SHR. My worry is what happens to Newman and how long does the Danica train travel before it derails?

If she does well at Texas (top half), then the train keeps on. If she doesn't and doesn't have a failure, we can start preping the Larson train.

Vegas was her best nationwide track and look what happened there. She is scared and her fans seem to think it's handling issue which is crap. They aren't that far off in short runs.

Danica can't do crap on any tracks other than Talladega, Daytona, and possibly Sonoma and Watkins Glen. She's not even a decent driver, if nobody could already tell. Just a shame that she's fulfilling the role of a "field filler" as opposed to a driver competing for the win.

Put Regan Smith or AJ Allmendinger behind the wheel of that car, they'll actually be contenders. Too bad that isn't happening since Danica brings in so much money.

Yes, but shes bringing in good publicity and revenue into the sport though. Just imagine if she won a race or even a championship! Nascar would probably leap frog the NBA and NFL in views!

Today, Friday, at Barrett-Jackson, Palm Beach, FL, NASCAR team owner Rick Hendrick, of Hendrick Motor Sports, paid $1,000,000 for the privilege of having the very first production Corvette C7 Stingray Convertible. He will take delivery at the Bowling Green, Kentucky Corvette Plant and be the first person to "turn it over" as the car comes off the production line.

Rick is also the owner of the first production model of the C7 Stingray (hard top). He bought the rights to that car for $1.5 million at the Scottsdale auction this past January. Rick was interviewed earlier in the evening and said that he had his choice of options and colors. His C7 Stingray will be in black. I would guess that the convertible bookend will be in black as well.

Image is from SPEED on my iPhone 5, Pioneer Kuro plasma. Forgive the poor focus. If I used focus, it created weird waves of color.

Not a car I'd buy but it's money to use as he sees fit. I'm much more practical in cars even if I had that kind of money!

Not really, especially since Fox isn't showing her as much as it's hard to justify showing the person in 34th 3 laps down when there is actual racing elsewhere and drivers that are just as well-known.

Just imagine if she won a race or even a championship!

Going by the fact she has a hard time getting top-30's I don't see that happening this millenia...

Even a Chase spot would be out of bounds unless a large bunch of competent drivers miss half the regular season due to injuries.

10 bucks on Denny Hamlin beating her still this season.

Just seen on Speed that yes the ragtop will also be in black.
Wonder if he needs someone to drive it home.:dopey:

Umm why does harvick have a #24 on the side of his truck?

Again with this crap? That's the number that team has, it does not belong to Hendrick Motorsports and it isn't Jeff Gordon's number.

Oh man, Jeb Burton just wrecked Ron Hornaday. Was passing everyone well except for Hornaday.

Just normal Martinsville racing. Just watching the Trucks makes me want to go back and enjoy a few dogs and the classic short track racing
