PFFT!!!

Marty's interview was good, but Hamlin is proving the cry baby he really is. Get over it, does anyone look at the race and see that these 2 drivers were never going to give it up, no matter what. Joey did not turn Denny into the wall. Joey was ahead and Denny just clipped his rear quarter panel and the 11 car turned down. With the speed no telling where the cars were going to skid too. And another thing what about the "what if" the inside wall had the safer barrier would we be talking about injuries. Denny realized he wasnt going to win as he began to slide away from the 22, knowing that was it and was going to be left behind, he turned to collect the 22 along with him. that's why you saw the 11 flooring it as he went into the infield wall.

No,
just no.

Interesting interview. While I don't care for either driver (as a Montoya/Kenseth/Ambrose fan) it was quite interesting.

The minivan picture is hilarious, though.

Yes bro, this was discussed last night on Sirius NASCAR and they took the replay frame by frame. They even stated that you can clearly see Hamlin's tires turn left and him gas it. Hamlin sent himself to the hospital. But you won't see anyone on ESPN or the NASCAR broadcast say it... because nobody wants to be the one to pick on the guy who got hurt :(

No, I won't say it because Hamlin was trying to turn down because Logano was going to crash Hamlin into the outside wall and Hamlin was trying to finish the race. It doesn't change anything though. Logano made foolish comments, (EXTREMELY FOOLISH COMMENTS) that should not have been said anyways and will always appear as an immature crybaby.

Their both crybabies, but hamlin cannot say that Logano wrecked him. That's it.

Yeah, how do you think the Roosevelts chose who to marry?

Maybe Hamlin won't get over it until he's not home sitting on the couch. I wouldn't either.......

Saw that yesterday on ESPN.

Again, I feel bad that he can't race, but I still believe he's being hypocritical.

I'm sure he didn't have Brad's welfare in mind when he did that, and that wasn't a short track either.

Denny Hamlin
My objective today was try to win the race first and take care of him (Brad) second...

I'm curious what Hamlin does he returns. If he doesn't trying taking out Logano, nor any other driver for the rest of the season, then I'll earn respect for him. Otherwise, pot, meet kettle.

Funny how brad's a Two-Time nascar champion now and Denny is still "No-Time". He doesn't have crap on Brad!

I forgot that not only is the owner's title a joke title but now all Nationwide and Truck Championships count as official top-tier titles! I guess Kyle Busch has more championships than Hamlin AND Ron Hornaday Jr. has more championships than all 3 of them combined! Because, logic.

This pot has been stirred enough, Joey proved his is immature with comments as interview showed. It doesn't matter if Hamlin cries all day over it.

You can claim all day Hamlin wrecked Joey when they were at the wall but everyone will try all day to keep their car off it and it took off with no chance of saving it after turning left. Do I think Joey totally wrecked him on purpose, that's a huge debate that the truth won't ever be known by us. It isn't the first nor the last but you show respect for fellow drivers after a wreck period. Joey needs to learn some class!

Gordon must win this weekend to make the chase!

This year after 5 races:
0 wins
18th in points
-22 behind 10th

Last year after 5 races:
0 wins
25th in points
-51 behind 10th

He doesn't have to win this weekend.

I'm gonna go on a limb and say no, but then that would be one limb too far for me to bother.

Someone back me up on this because seems I'm the odd ball in this idea.

Everyone thinks that Kyle Larson will eventually take over JPM ride while gets the boot. I think if anyone gets the boot, it's Jaime because of all the history JPM has there and offering his road racing side another star driver when needed. If anything really happens with JPM moving it would be to a DP car I'd think honestly, and Larson would fill this 42 seat.

Now this is all years away since Chip isn't rushing him.

Disregard ANYTHING he says, it never makes logical sense ever.

That's odd because all the talk I hear suggests that it is Jamie who might get the boot.

Glad I'm not only one who sees that. Another forum I'm on keeps thinking because of the 2010 season is basically his saving grace while JPM hasn't done much besides 2 wins.

I can see McDonald's and Kyle being decent fit too. Bass Pro will leave by then I bet to RCR.

If Jamie keeps up his current form I think he will stay at least another year. He is 16th currently, which is higher than JPM(30th)(who is being beat by Danica(29th)).

That being said, if current performances continue I can see a lot of seats changing after the season(I can see the 9,31,39 & 47 all having new drivers, plus the 29 and likely the 55). I know it's still very early in the season but teams usually start deciding on the next year's lineup before the season ends.

On a less argumentative topic, Nemechek has an actual scheme.

Surprised Ganon didn't already post it.

Montoya lost a lot of points when he got collected in the Kahne/Stewart/Harvick wreck at Daytona. He also had a parts breakage at California. Without those two incidents alone, he would probably be up around 20th in points, in the same area he has ended up the last two seasons.

If anything, I can see both drivers getting the boot. Other than the apparently one fluke year in 2010, EGR as a whole has been irrelevant (and by extension, CGR hasn't been a serious championship contender since 2002). I have no idea how Chip can put up with that other than Jamie/JPM drawing sponsorship.

Looks pretty sweet 👍

All of the other Chip Ganassi Operations are title-winning, title-challenging operations year-in and year-out. Both drivers have been given extended stays due to sponsorship deals and their experience but neither driver has made the Chase regularly and given the huge wealth of upcoming talent in the Nationwide this year, one would think they both need to have a strong contract-year Chase performance like Martin Truex Jr. had last year.

I think Ganassi knows it is the cars that are underperforming, and not the drivers. If he thought it was the drivers, they would already be gone.
