The one who needed to be out was Travis honestly. I believe the issue was they weren't honoring the money aspect and Landon wasn't going to play games. Landon might not have become what people thought but to be the test driver for Jimmie isn't exactly easy or something to take lightly.

Landon also seemed to he more into promoting the team than others.

It's hard to argue that David isn't as good as Landon (Both are two of my favorites), but if I were BK, I'd build the team around Landon (As long as he wasn't asking for an insane amount of money when he left........ which I really doubt).
He's a young, marketable driver with potential. Let's face facts, both Kavpil and David aren't either of that (Reuity it seems can only be marketable when he has Waltrip's charisma to play off of).

According to some people on Twitter, thats exactly why he left.

I'm sure much to Montoya's pleasure, the jet dryers are no more. If the compressed air contraption works like he says it will it should be great.👍

I just read about this. Hopefully it works well. No more having to wait 2 or more hours for a track to dry means getting rain delayed races done much sooner and less chances of next-day continuations being needed.

I never thought Danica would get within a mile of the Nationwide Championship trophy. Apparently, she's gotten a lot closer than I expected.

How many jokes are we gonna get when Ricky shoves her out the way at Daytona?

"And Danica just got forced up top into the high line by the 6 of Stenhouse..."

I'm actually not shocked at it. There had been some rumors about them before, but nothing solid until now.

"You can see Danica Patrick and Ricky Stenhouse Jr. hooking up on the low side. Stenhouse giving her a hard push in the rear."

"And there we have Stenhouse giving Danica a little love bump..."

Then seconds later...

"Whoa! We have Danica getting loose! She saves it! Oh no she doesn't! Danica overcorrects into the wall! Caution is out for the first time..."

ICEYOU
That is an impossible task even for her mentor and master Tony "3-TIME" "SMOKE" Stewart.

First true statement you've ever said! Granted she had some talent but not as much as she wishes.

I'm a little shocked Tony didn't get her first or try.

Thought Roush wanted to bring the 6 back in some way in future though?

Leads perfectly into this, Bayne may run full time in 2014
Roush Fenway Racing's goal is to put Trevor Bayne in a full-time Sprint Cup ride by 2014. Bayne has run a part-time schedule since 2011 when he kicked off the season winning the Daytona 500 in the legendary #21 Wood Brothers Ford. He will run another part-time schedule for the Wood Brothers this season as well as a full Nationwide Series schedule for Roush Fenway Racing. Bayne's contract is with RFR, which supplies engines and chassis to the Wood Brothers. Team owner Jack Roush said if he can work out the finances and sponsorship issues toward the end of this season the plan is to put Bayne in Cup full time next year.

!

Maybe Roush could simply field a car for him in races where the Woods don't run in 2014? Because otherwise who could the Woods put in the 21 next year, Pastrana?

If Roush was only like that. It's actually about time he tried with Bayne as last year couldn't fund a ride, now he can possibly. I have no respect for how he runs his teams.

Hard to say, Martin isn't expecting to return to the 55 next year and hasn't ruled out driving in '14. He would probably be the best candidate.

now he can possibly.

I'm not so sure about that, according to Jayski's driver/team chart none of his three cars are fully sponsored as of right now. Granted I'm sure they will fill in the gaps somewhat but I wouldn't be surprised to see the Ecoboost schemes return this season on all 3 cars.

I also still have a hard time seeing what people see in Bayne, in 34 cup starts he has a total of 3 top 10's, only one being somewhere that isn't a restrictor plate track. Sure he won the 500, but so did Derrike Cope and Ward Burton.
