Here's a fun game we can play. After this commercial, count the number of times they say Danica before they go back to ads. I'm going to guess 21 times.

These cars are probably going to be pretty awesome on the road courses, however.

It's just a shame we'll only see them twice...

Take a shot every time they say Danica. You'll have a pretty bad hangover though.

It picked up when Danica took the lead! But then it dropped like a rock when a Toyota started leading.

They really should put the steering wheel on the right side of the Chevys. It would more accurately resemble the original design of the car then, and would lead to some pretty interesting racing.

So I'm checking the Daytona 500 hashtag on Twitter and literally all I'm seeing is Danica. Is anything else happening apart from someone driving around with tits?

Don't get me wrong, I love Danica, but there's got to be something else going on.

Because the road courses are so much slower it's going to be a visual blast, yeah.

They look a lot stiffer than the COT's and the jellybean era cars. = better racing.

And, well, road courses are just better anyway. :)

NASCAR. Come to Spa-Francorchamps. Please. It'd be immense.

There isn't, really. Sadly.

Oh yes. 👍

They went to Suzuka back in the mid 1990s, I believe there's a short video of the race on youtube. I'd like to see Donington or Hockenheim, too.

So I haven't watched a NASCAR race in years. Do they always show this many commercials? Lord Jesus, nobody got time for that.

Also is the new era of NASCAR design just making everything dull? I remember a few years ago it seemed to be a bunch of close racing with bumping and a bunch of lead changes, now it's just cars driving around single file. At least the new cars look cool.

Oh and I can't stand Danica Patrick, she was irritating in Indy and she's even more irritating in NASCAR. I just hope she doesn't run over one of her pit crew members.

Either she'll run out of fuel or no one will pit with her.

Both scenarios are going to be hilarious anyway.

I can't remember how many times I thrashed Watkin's Glen in NASCAR '09. Hundreds . . . I love the NASCAR cars on road courses, it's wild, and brings it closer to the more 'traditional' types of racing, and the variables that it brings.

These green flag stops are white knuckle . . .

No commercials on the streams we're watching in the UK, if that helps.
