I feel Biffle would be the guy Roush offs to make room for Bayne.Carl Edwards has something that most other drivers don't have.
Marketability.

I honestly don't see all that much upside in him anymore.
FurinkazenBiffle is a key part of Roush, he works well with Kenseth. Kenseth would not have won the Daytona 500 or Talladega without Biffle's help.
As for Bayne, if he would have anywhere it would be the 6. But that dissapeared when Stenhouse came in.
Forgot that Matt moved to the #20 and Ricky to the #17... driver merry go round got me
@Drop, Roush had 5 cars at one point? 6,16,17,26,99 , until NASCAR restricted team sizes.
No, Hendrick has never had a 5th car full-time (They've had the 44 run part time with Terry Labonte and the 25 return to run part time with Brad though)
Also, if anybody was wondering, the 4 car team limit was made as a direct response to Roush winning 18 races in 2005. But they didn't enforce it on Roush itself until the end of 2009 for whatever reason.
Roush ironically does have "2nd teams" now much like Hendrick (FRM, RPM, and kinda Penske). To not run off existing sponsors under contract would be my best guess.
Apparently, Roush just needed to split off a "2nd team" like Hendrick has with SHR, and now EGR. That's 9 total Hendrick cars on track each weekend, not counting the cars that get Hendrick engines, like Phoenix racing.
This video is badass! I swear the toyotas look like Lamborghini now.

2013 testing at Charlotte today.

Earnhardt likes the new car better, but with larger rear spoiler is skeptical about passing being easier. http://www.dalejr.com/news/dalejr/2012/12/11/junior-offers-opinion-on-2013-chevy-ss
I thought the COT was just frustrating for me. I had good runs and good races in it. I had races where the car drove well and was comfortable, but I never really connected with that car from the very beginning. Just personally I didnt like the car. I didnt really appreciate it for what it was
Now that that it's on track I think it looks way better! Not bad at all, and it's still 10x better than that awful Miller Lite car.
RPM's shop is not just a stone's throw away from Roush, but it's even on Roush property. I doubt they don't at least share as much, if not more, information with RPM than Hendrick does with SHR.I don't think Roush shares as much information with RPM as HMS does with SHR. I think Roush builds the cars and engines, and just delivers them, kind of like RCR was doing with engines for some other teams in the past.
If way better means terrible then you are right. Otherwise you have no argument.
Yeah, a few still do. But they seem to be the same people who like "Jounya!", think Gibbs is a traitor for leaving Chevy, and decided not to go to Kansas because Jr. was out with a concussion.Hey I was just wondering, do NASCAR fans in general still dislike Toyota's presence in the series? I met a couple of people that watch NASCAR in Tampa (you'll find quite a few here) and some of them thought Toyota is the devil?
